No kidding. How long before those signs in Macy's that designate what type of clothing is in a certain area are deemed INSULTING? We'll have to change it all to just Pants, Shorts, Shirts, since boys shirts are girls shirts and men's khakis are for women and dresses are for everyone. Swimwear should hurt someone's feelings I'm sure, like those who can't swim. Sue Macy's for discrimination. It'll happen sooner or later as psychotic Libs take over.

At a conference recently I laughed as the line for the women's bathroom between sessions was always all the way down the hall while there was never a wait for the men's. I was actually surprised with all the Hipster Artists around, that the women didn't just stampede right into the men's bathrooms and tell us all to step aside and deal with it.

 

it's not far fetched. In California (where else), a 17 year old dude was allowed to play on the girls' softball team

I heard on the radio about a year ago a story from a "female" tennis player who had a sex change and won the "right" in court to play tennis against the girls.

In retrospect "she" now agrees that the court was wrong and that it was unfair for her play against the girls since she had an unfair advantage given that "she" has a mans athletically superior muscle and bone structure. "She" said that "she" was so caught up in the idea and the fight that "she" never stopped to think about how unfair "she" was being to everyone else.

 

Consider if you will Landon Donovan. For some reason, Klinsman didn't take him to Brazil and instead took a kid who has not seen 1 second of play.

So, why doesn't Landon say that he feels like a girl today and go play on the womans national team? They would dominate

 

WHO CARES?? How come the RIGHT/REPUBLICANS/CONSERVATIVES/BORNAGAINS twist themselves in knots over 5.5 OVERALL gay population and as for the total transgenders? We probably could fit them in an NFL STADIUM. I KNOW ONLY 1. SHE WAS AN ARMY COLONEL. HE had all the accompanying BRASS then (I saw the before pictures myself). And SHE is still married to original spouse. GO FIGURE!

 

Factual documentation of a Birth.

Same function served by the Time of birth, the Location of birth, Hospital..Doctor...weight. etc etc.

Exactly. In NJ there are different rules for the Breathalyzer for women over 60. How are they going to work this now when a man over 60 says he's a woman? Which science will prevail? The ACTUAL science or the feely good science? Liberals open up cans of worms ALL over the place.

 

I care because I'm an engineer. Scientific bodies are supposed to issue scientific statements that represent the opinion of the body whole as well as the opinion of the minority. They are not supposed to put out statements about feelings that are never even put to a vote of their membership.

I want my scientists to stick to the science even if the science is opposed to the feelings of the day. Science has to be a rock. The scientific method is at is core a process to remove human bias.

 

Such a notion could allow gays to circumvent traditional marriage laws completely without needing to do anything to get same-sex marriage passed. That's one reason why some wouldn't like this.

 

But why should we care about that?.....what bad things happen if gays circumvent traditional marriage laws?....they're still going to be gay.

I've often wondered why a piece of paper (marriage license) sitting in the skinny drawer of the desk in the upstairs study, in a house where gay people live affects you so negatively. It caould happen all the time and you wouldnt even know it.

The science says that people who have a transgender mind suffer from all sorts of mental illness as a result of the severe identity crisis of being stuck in a body you don't identify with. Doctors understand this and understand the risk of not treating transgenders with completely social acceptance is far greater than any perceived risk of socially accepting it.

We're talking about preventing suicide and depression in these people. That far outweighs the right's whining and moaning about a subject that has no effect on them.

 

No. The science of a transgender mind is evolving. And the threat of suicide and depression that results from not socially accepting transgender minded people is far greater than the immature whining on the subject coming from the right.

I'm not qualified to make that call. And I don't care whether it is or isn't. All that matters is we treat it and make their life as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. I see no reason why we shouldn't allow them to change their gender.
