He “loves the poorly educated,” to be sure, but the corporate elite are uneasy with Putin’s Poodle’s downscale trumpster-diving for remnants of support.

It’s as if America’s CEOs are anxiously waiting to see the next creepy tweetmonster that emerges:

Not just that but without the drive by the President for green technology the US will miss out on the huge export market of green technology. The rest of the world (except Syria and Nicaragua) are expanding on green technology. It is very short sighted to reject what other countries desire just because you don't agree with it

Their consumer base is the planet. Giving the finger to the global community and surrendering leadership to China is not a viable marketing strategy.

Trump is obviously a complete moron (who never should've been elected in the first place).

A clueless idiot who has made America a Worldwide Laughingstock.

He doesn't have a clue about "Green".

You think this is about "liberals"? Perhaps you think everything is about liberals?

Yes, it seems so, by the reaction of the leading US industrialists.

Gazprom is doing some kind of joint venture with the Saudis. I haven't looked at the details yet.

I would bet good money that Trump left the accord because it will benefit him. Lust like we found out that the ending the ATM would save him personally MILLIONS.

Trump is just proving that he has loyalty to no-one. That he has no real moral, business, or ethical compass, only what is best for him. His hubris and complete "whats in it for me" ethic is showing with this decision. But he needs to be very careful because now he is showing he cant be trusted for anything, by anybody, including his supporters.

You can claim all day long that "he is going against the crony capitalists", but if you really think that Trump can change Washington, your sadly mistaken. He is one man, and Washington is a big machine that is going to chew him up and swallow him whole !!!

They are economic strategy is stagnant, more of the same, and that is most certainly a way to give up being leaders in industry. It is the same thing that happened to the US car industry twice, in the early 70's and late 90's. The US car industry went in the wrong direction for the immediate dollar, and eventually paid for it.

It's not about the financial reward he just flushed down the tubes..................it's the win, win he was looking for. He gave the finger to Europe that tickles his base and the coup de gras is that Putin was served by the USA removing themselves from world leadership.

Perhaps if liberals quit wetting their diapers over anything and everything that doesn't align 100% with their cult like ideology, then you could present a case to me countering my statement.

So you continue to go off topic to where your comfort zone of simplicity let's you? Trump fed a bone to his base at the expense of future jobs and world leadership. That's the topic...

Ask "the Google" that question and there will be many hits. Renewables are the future industries of growth.

Maybe and hopefully so, but until the free market takes us there, your claim about losing jobs is not substantial in reality based on economics.
