How many times does the right have to continue with this half baked garbage. Like fed income tax is the only tax americans have to pay. Why always with the distortion of total income and total taxes? Just have to mislead, give 1/2 truths, and distort reality?
    Why is that?

PS - Romney pays less than 15% on $200M. I believe that is what is talked about when fair share is mentioned. No distortion of truth or facts here.

No one is taking more and more of yours. The tax rate is the lowest its been in decades. Again the the distortion of truth. Is that al the Rwers got?

Having lived in both countries...I would say Canada's poor have it better then America's (not that some other countries poor are not better off still - I do not know).

Canada's universal healthcare is better then Medicaid (IMO).

Canada's violent crime rate is far lower.

Canada does not have food stamps...you just get cash from the government (I believe).

And Canada's fiscal outlook is much brighter then America's is right now...so the likelihood that the benefits the poor do 'enjoy' will continue should be greater in Canada.

Interesting. I wonder how our poor compare to Germany, France, Switzerland's poor.

That's because you guys don't have millions living in ghettos. You guys don't have millions of illegal aliens in your country.

I guess the welfare, ie food stamps, WIC, and other programs have been successful. It seems our poor don't starve, don't have children under 5 who are stunted, have adequate nutrition.
Seems like a success. And the RWers want to do away with it. They want our poor to be like the rest of the worlds poor? They want African type poor?

We want people that are capable of working... to indeed work.

Is that too much to ask for?

No. Middle class shrinks when they have to help fund all of this stupid entitlement spending, along with the upper earners.

No they don't. It shrinks when couple rich people hoard all the money and turn everyone in to Wal Mart baggers.

    Nice lie!

No. You keep giving people who don't work MORE money and they are LESS likely to get off their ass and do something.

Why work if I can live a good enough lifestyle living off the government?

I am not saying i disagree with your first point...generally.

But why do you keep accusing people of lying when you cannot prove that they are?

lie1    [lahy] Show IPA noun, verb, lied, ly·ing.
    noun
    1.
a false statement made with deliberate intent to deceive; an intentional untruth; a falsehood.

And your proof that he/she 'deliberately intended to 'deceive' is...?

Who cares. They spend all their money. I much rather have 100 million welfare recipients making $10k a year than 10,000 wealthy people making $100 million a year.

Wealthy people are wealthy because they have the ability to take more than they spend. Poor people are poor because they spend everything they have. The middle class does much better off when poor people have money than rich people.

Think of it this way... rich people hire the middle class so that they can get poor people's money.

You are absolutely correct. No one wants to call greed what it is; and it is a convenient thing for those who ruthlessly leverage wealth away from those who work hardest.

No not at all. Why would you think anyone wants anything different. Just because someone supports those programs as a crutch doesn't mean we want anyone making a living from them.

But there are a lot of jobs that just don't pay enough to support families. Especially true now with the economy. Walmart, McD's etc, just doesn't have the pay needed to sustain a family, that is until all our prices deflate to their income levels.

It's embarrassing! All economics is trickle up economics. If it was trickle down economics wealthy people would be getting poorer, lol.

What's noted, is that you don't even understand what you're so apt to 'spin'. You really don't see that well. It's sad. :(

They live *well enough* to often deter them from working or trying to get a better job in the workforce if they are working.

Who says it's your money in the 1st place? Taxes have been around long enough, they're figured into the cost of labor. It really isn't your money as the wages are inflated to make up for that going to taxes.

So much are you entitled to make for doing a job that requires no skills?

The thing (economy) will ultimately collapse under them. Their wealth will become 'dust'.

Your opinion? Prove it. Are there some that won't go get a job, sure. Very small percent. Most want to make something of their lives. RW BS is all you got.
