why is it that when something big happens in other countries, we automatically have to consider war to help that country out. but when it comes to flushin' out the badees at home, we sell ourselves short? the real question is, WHY does it seem like america let's its criminals off easy, and nobody better pull that 'its better for them to be rehabilitated' crap cause theres a limit!! exthis is a true story but i cant find the article, so bear with me i only remember small details.) obviously a pedophile, id say early 30s, kidnapped and raped a little girl(id say about 8-10), and long story short, he got 4 MONTHS!! not even years, but months! i cant exactly remember which state it was, but trust me it was in this country. WHY can the justice system put their foot down on bullying, and texting while driving, but not enough to protect a child from something as wicked as a pedobear!? i just dont get it!! can somebody tell me whats wrong with the system!!??
I'm sorry to say but I doubt it. You've clearly already decided in your own mind "what's wrong with the system" and are in no mind to listen to anything that doesn't match your preconceptions. Angry is entirely the wrong emotional state to discuss such matters - you'll only succeed in making yourself and other people even angrier.
All systems have problems. Lots of questionable convictions have been fast laned for execution too. Petty criminals with minor amounts (a few grams) of drugs have spent years in prison while others with large amounts (several pounds) have spent less than one day despite similar convictions. It is a system made up of fallible people. In a system where mistakes are a given, maybe it is Ok to lean towards the soft side. The hard side can get lots of innocents killed and abused by the very people who are sworn to protect them.
