If there had been no armed Anglo Saxons to fight for FREEDOM and the guns to fight with America would have ended up as some c**p British colony like Rhodesia ( the direction she is now heading in, ) The American Army won the War of Independence under Washington? The Amercan Army was the same armed freedom fighters but organized. Without them mercenaries would have had to be employed like the Hessiansand the war lost! As Anglo Saxon America is methodically being destroyed the decendents of these ARMED heroes are being denied the power to fight back. If you think this is wrong then keep watching the disintigration.
The way I see it, you lose your gun freedoms when you initiate or threaten to initiate the use of force with that firearm, not before.

Perhaps you misunderstand me, I am opposed to gun control. I am not advocating their use for coercive purposes, quite the opposite. A gun has the function of firing a projectile at high velocity on command, there's nothing nefarious in this function itself - only when one implies intent does a gun become coercive, but this is true of anything. It's wrong to assume that intent. It's certainly wrong to look at society collectively and say that because some people apply that intent, no individual can be trusted not to. I am not responsible for the actions of others.
Ridiculous statements are par for the course among the left. Please try using an arguments to support your wild positions. I would counter with saying "The US is the richest nation because we have had a history of offering the greatest opportunities and incentives to entrepreneurs." Now one of our statements is a little closer to reality I think, but lets see. What is your first data point, or supporting argument for your conclusion? I would go with the Native Americans, you may have a point about them.

Oh for Christ sake get real. The Cheese Eaters and flat heads did not act to save us, but to inconvenience their natural enemy the British. They would ( and did ) pay the Indians to scalp us if it would embarrass the British. Yeah they were useful but we WON the battles. The British like to save face by pretending that without the blockade they would have been able to send battle winning reinforcements - dream on!
