You can say that illegal immigrants are less likely to commit crimes than our citizens (omitting the crime of entering illegally), but illegal immigrants do commit crimes. Illegal immigration provides a steady source of income for the cartels to strengthen their industry of drugs, guns, extortion, sex tourism, forced servitude, and human trafficking.

Gangs here in the US strengthen their numbers through illegal immigration. I grew up in a gang infested neighborhood.

You are right to criticize the GOP for not securing the border when they had the chance. Dems are a bit worse as they incentivize illegal immigration.

 

Many, many, many illegal immigrants did not enter illegally. And crossing the border illegally is a misdemeanor.

 

You began by saying that it would be easy to demolish the argument that immigrants are not causing rises in crime, rape, and drugs.

Then you admit that incidences of such incidences may be less common in the immigrant and refugee population than in the general. Which is the point I was making!

Correct. We have crime. Illegal immigrants, while less likely to commit crime, add to the crime rate. They bring crime.

I used the example of rape south of the border to show what we are allowing in. I hope I don't need to post articles showing rape and murder by illegal immigrants here in the US. You should already know this.

To say you have no idea who is exploiting these immigrants shows that you have not done the minimum research. It is not reasonable to believe that the cartels allow competition. Government and law enforcement are no match for the cartels, but a B team cartel startup is?

Keep in mind that we are discussing illegal immigrants; not immigrants.
