    More accurately a "safe space" can be described as a place for the weak to revel in and celebrate their own weakness and intolerance of anything that contradicts their own preconceived notions of the world.

    It is a violent action with the purpose of achieving a political goal

    The Ft Food shooter was a lone wolf terrorist wagibg jihad for allah

    But there was no goal in pittsburgh so far as I can tell other than to appease the rage and hate of one man

    Defined by statute in the US. If he killed them because he hates jews its a hate crime. If it
    "(B) appear to be intended – (i) to intimidate or coerce a civilian population; (ii) to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; or (iii) to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination, or kidnapping"
    its terrorism.
