IF you were a real lawyer, you would know that that is not a real argument.

    Nice cop out.

And you just proved my point, that you are incapable of refuting anything I've posted.

And we know why you are incapable of it, don't we, TURTLEDUDE.

    Vacuous claim. Prove it.

You can't, and we know why, eh, Turtledude?
    Nice cop out.

Like I said, that's all you can do, is make excuses.

That is because you are incapable of it, as your post proves.

And, if you are such a paragon of logic, how can you not know that my being a lawyer is not required for your refuting anything I've ever posted?

    Some lawyer you are.

And we know why, don't we, turtledude?

So, what you are saying is that you are content with all the factors outlined in Pat's well appointed post.?? AND you suggest that those that don't buy into the Trump Fascist ideas and actions are free to leave the country.( only Trump supporters are welcome to stay??) Will those that criticize him be sued or worse?? So, you are getting what you voted for?? The country 'changed" the minute Trump "won" ... One can speculate that he has been working on his plans all the while since he lost last time. His plans and the desire to escape legal accountability are the reason he wanted the job of POTUS so much. He sees it as license to do as HE wishes to gain more and more control over the population. His legal actions are the over hanging that of what can happen to anyone that crosses him, in any way .
Those that voted for him are accountable for every negative action he takes , every system he destroys, and the cruelty he demonstrates as he activates his tour of retribution;......which is just a cover for gaining control through fear or the people who are vulnerable to his fear tactics or control.
The road to fascism has begun....and those that voted for him are enabling him as much as his selected inner circle .The momentum is there now.....so unless something dramatic happens, it might well be too late.
Enjoy your win. When things go south...... his voters have no one to blame but themselves to blame as they misread the man so badly....and elected him into a position of world power.
The legal system is questionable now as he has full control over it. ..and can/ will keep using it in his retribution acts. But soon that too won't be enough and he will do things that are harsher. So what we have is a lunatic in power and a large number of the pop..... is happy with that .Those of us outside the Trump world can hardly believe what is happening.....and yet there it is , all the signs pointing in a certain direction.
He wanted the POWER of the office for HIS own motives...which have been outlined very well in Pat's post.

Not sure if you've been paying attention, but the president you say doesn't have dementia just pardoned his family because he said his own DoJ engaged in lawfare against him.

Well, you asked me to predict 'what damage'. One way we can predict is to look at the past, which is what I did, and since trump is not smart as the last republican presidents who presided over 9 recessions, we can expect worse damage.

Your psychological assessment of Trump is spot on. Paranoid peple get worse and NO AMOUNT of REVENGE is satisfying...... When tied to obsessions as he is noted to have about certain peoplehe targets...he is literally clinically insane... But because he is able to function in some areas of his life and is protected by a large group of peple..... his condition is left unchecked. He does not kid when he says he can shoot/ kill someone on 5th Ave and get away with it. That is his conscious and subconscious mind speaking. Notice how his law suits have increased in number and he is targeting other "enemies" for legal action. (eg Liz Cheney.. What is happening is the the freedom of speach is being eroded by the threats of legal action by him. We are entering some very concerning times......and his supporters are oblivious to it.or Worse: activley supporting his every move. Seems they are tired of democracy as they elected a fascist by to run the country.
First he will deport all the "illegal"s.
Next Which group will be next??

He has already started the lawsuits of retribution.
Musk.........Trumps partner is psychologically questionable in HIS ideas too..... so that makes an interesting pair and some are wondering if it is actually Musk who is going to run the country........ as Donald doesn't much care for the boring day to day details of the job.) He is for the media part and glorification.

Yep, and every time you see it ends the same way - Trump holds a victory celebration and you guys go deeper into despair and frustration.

Your counter doesn't rise above 'you're wrong'.

YW arguments are among the weakest arguments you can offer.

'Trump won' doesn't negate criticism of him, and, as such, is not a counter argument.

and we already KNOW how much he likes walls....those pretty ones he blathered about.

Mind you he will want to "deal with anti Trumpers ......as he sees it.....as they hurt his feelings'. (by being honest about him)and not voting for him. (or pledging some loyalty oath to him)
Geez.....what is this?? Some school yard groupie that swears loyalty to each other etc etc... as young kids do) ( Oh.... and the MAFIA too).

Does a world of free choice really scare you that much? It sure seems so. So when someone offers you the freedom to simply pack it up and go somewhere that doesn't offer you that freedom, you're what? Mad? Laughable.

I will say, you offer a surprisingly transparent portal into the minds of the whacky left. Always trying to deflect what y'all would actually do as a threat that someone else might do it as well... Again laughable. I fear the reality of the world you really wish you were living in is shrinking these days. That must sting a little...

I have no idea what "well appointed" means in the context of a post. A condo? I'd say this. The post was poorly written BS. It was littered with falsity, disingenuous assertions that are frankly nothing better than BS. So, instead of accepting that other posters will call said OP poster for that BS, you take the entirely different tact of accusing those who criticize that BS as fascists. Hmm.. Who's the little authoritarian in this conversation? Find a mirror.

I offer a simple solution to discontent. If you don't like the landscape, you can leave. Just like MILLIONS of other americans who have fled their repressive authoritarian Blue states for better futures in Republican states. Y'all can't stand that folks have freedom,. Face it. Here's the little secret. Freedom isn't fascist. I cannot believe how abusive y'all have used that word in public to describe anyone who doesn't cotton up to your version of authoritarian control of the citizenry.

So, nothing in the United States stops one from leaving. Just like nothing in the United States stops one from fleeing the oppression of a democratic party controlled state. Patricio repeatedly posts threads and comments/posts his deep dissatisfaction with freedom. He doesn't support civil rights. And yet, he demands that we take his perspective on freedom being unnecessary seriously. Ok. I take it seriously. He yearns for an oppressive regime who forces the citizens to live in the fear he seems to desire. And short of that, he continues to spew his dissatisfaction and attempts to sow discord and fear in his voluminous BS threads. My simple observation then is, if you don't want to be here, leave. It isn't because I want him to leave. It's because he seems truly miserable living here in this country. Why endure that?

You what is actually sad and hilarious at the same time. Reading that someone "rejected the complete and utter BS of a brain dead President, his even more stupid DEI VP Pick and the shenanigans of his party's owners" only to accept, willingly, the ravings of a madman that is controlled by billionaires and dictators and claiming HE'S competent!! No one will notice the whatever "temper tantrums" you think are going to happen because the actual destruction of our country will be happening. Forget about lifting up the middle class. There will be no middle class. There will be only the have and the have nots.

your opinion on Trump is not one I find credible. Your dire predictions of doom and gloom appear hyperbolic hysterics. Lifting the middle class involves stop making freeloading and public teat suckling popular.

no you don't. all the hysterical complaints about what Trump is going to do are belied by what he actually did in his first term. and what we also know is that Kackles was the worst contender for the 2020 nomination, she was a complete failure as border czar and VP and she managed to not only blow well over a billion campaign dollars, she ended up 20 million in debt, proving she was way too stupid to run a campaign. And you thought that DEI bimbo was qualified to be president despite that track record of failures. Other than satisfying willie brown, she has been a disaster

He didn't do anything in his first term. The tax cut, that's it and it wasn't good.
Are you aware of how many bankruptcies Trump has had? You want to compare his "business" expertise to a political campaign?!
Yes, I do, much more than Trump was or is.
What a crude dig, but she was mutually satisfying to Brown as compared to paying to be satisfied like your boy.
