But it is the cause of it.

My theory is that Biden and Trudeau are doing exactly what they were chosen to do..........

... almost like a reality film producer might choose potential stars based on their resume up until this time.......

They want to do that because they want to lose the elections in November? Or is there some other reason?

That is an excellent question.... that had crossed my mind as well.

Another possible reason is that they want to set in motion essentially total control over American taxpayers........
through the taxpayers fear of a Bear Market.... [another 1929]... and then the implementation of the Biden response to that seemingly impending Bear Market?!

But virtually none get reported. Thus why no administration before the failed Biden administration just opened the border and flooded the country with 10 million illegals aliens knowingly committing asylum fraud.

LOL. Is that why Trump crashed the economy in 2020? Or Bush in 2008?

Reported? You mean deported? All rejected applicants are deported.

Nope, not if they don't show up for the hearing which almost none of them do. Also getting ordered deported and actually getting deported are two different things. In blue "sanctuary state" or cities they won't even inform the Feds. Fact.

Staring to plant an expanded garden. Resisting inflation by growing your own is about the only option you have.

I have thought about doing the same but the reality is water prices are so high here in Southern California it is still cheaper to just buy at the store. Still, gardening might be justified as a hobby if nothing else. Fresh veggies would just be a bonus.

I do at least have a backyard with space for a reasonably sized garden. Chickens would likely be too much of a hassle especially with all the foxes, coyotes, and hawks around here.

Southern california would be a challenge unless you really love yucca root. I live on the east coast where water is cheap and often falls from the sky for free LOL. I think I only watered a couple times last year but it was oddish weather pattern where the rains almost came exactly when needed all season. I have a couple rain barrels because those are trendy must-haves I guess LOL. I got both for free so all I had to do was the connects. Have a lot of baby peaches on the trees already. Think this year I may work on adding figs. I have set out I think 24 tomatoes and 12 pepper plants so far but will double that number. Lettuces and radishes and beets already coming up.

I do a lot of bulk buying of other things so maybe you can save cash that way. For instance, I buy basically a year's worth of rice, flour, and beans at once. I stock up on sales so I might get a years worth of condensed soup or tomato paste or whatever at once as well. I plan to add a generator to the shopping list this year. After I get that, I will be more inclined to bulk buy meats. I got burned on that a few years back when we lost power for 5 days due to a storm and I had to toss a deep freezer full of frozen food.

Trump didn't crash the economy. The government medical community caused a lot of overspending. The economy was healthy when Trump left office. Neither did Bush. That problem occurred because government in the prior administration reduced the qualification for mortgage loans in order to increase home ownership. The loan defaults started the whole thing.

LOL. Medical community can only spend what Trump gave them, and he ended up handing out money to everyone whether they needed it or not. When he left office the economy was in tatters. Same wit Bush. If he thought there was a problem with mortgages, he had 8 years to fix it, but he only made it worse, - far worst with all the promotion of exotic mortgages, and help for minorities. At least Bush owns his mistakes, while Trump blames everyone but himself.

I think you give presidents more credit and criticism than is deserved. It wasn't Trump who defined the pandemic response. It was that medical community. Since Trump is not competent to determine medical responses he had no choice, in his mind at least, but to do what they outlined. What they outlined was to their benefit, not ours. The response to COVID was a disaster. The disaster was invented and guided by the government medical community. We should not have wasted so much money on it. But I think you miss who the bad guys were. I am also not a Trump fan.

Government has been allowed to misuse money and overspend for decades. That is on the voters who put their self interest ahead of the national interest. So I would put blame there before I put it on any politician. Politicians are also self interested so we have government based on personal self interest from top to bottom. We should find a way to fix that. The only answer I have to offer is a single term limit for every elected office. Politics as a career is not in the best interest of the nation. Incumbency and re-election are the major source of corruption in government.

Bush overspent with the best of them. I don't praise him either.
