    Note to mods; I am not sure where to put this, in the religion section or? In the thread I described why and these threads will help PF status and hopefully the members that read my stuff will learn about the subjects I often speak on. Also I hope that the said members also contribute to the topic with threads of their own concerning theology and other subjects such as science, advanced math, physics etc.

    short version ANNOUNCING REVAS COLLEGE LEVEL CLASSES; INRO TO THEOLOGY 101
    ;

    Basically I am going to write a daily weekly bi monthly or monthly thread on college level studies of religion and closely related subjects. One is going in a thread another will be published in my PF blog. Any suggestions comments are welcome just like any other thread. Hopefully we can all learn something new. I do not plan on making this a debate but rather the material will be textbook written in my words. The rest of the why (I am doing the threads etc) and other particulars are listed in the long version.

    Long version ANNOUNCING REVAS COLLEGE LEVEL CLASSES; INRO TO THEOLOGY 101

    Course description,....* lol * just kidding.

    I am not a university level teacher, however I do have a degree or two in the subjects of freshman college level theology and related subjects. I also have a couple of undergrad degrees in science related fields and liberal arts. So when I must I will touch on those subjects as well. I am happy the more current Christian apologists theists have the opinion that science and religion are a symbiotic relationship rather than one of confrontation, so I hope to blend both as seamlessly as possible. Anyway I hope to post a new thread each week or so as an college level introduction to theology. I will begin with the nuances of biblical Hermeneutics and Exegesis, as well as the categories of bible study such as the types of dispensationalist. Then we will touch on and covenant Theology, and how it agrees and contradicts dispensationalist theology. I hope to write it so anyone can understand it, even those attending middle school. You may be asking; What does that have to do with PF’s stated mission and goals of local and world political issues.

    Christians Jewish and other religions such as Islam effect world events and politics to a huge degree! If we are discussing a geopolitical affair or even the American election (USA) because most American voters are Christian, estimates range from 71>86% of the population. Even though we are a secular nation by law America is Christian by majority. If we added spiritual or another religon to those numbers the percentage ascends upward to the high eighty percent to the mid-ninety percent of voters that ID as Christian, or other religion including those that ID as ‘spiritual’. So religious people world do influence politics for better or worse. That is why I feel learning about the various particulars of Christianity will improve the quality of PF’s debates etc.

    Lastly, I would very much like to anyone that is self taught or have a degree write articles that are entry college level. If this isn’t received well, this will be the last post here at PF. (I am doing a similar thing at other sites, and its been accepted well),
