Germany has tight economic relations with Russia. Recently, in spite of the political games of the US Frau Merkel agreed to proceed with North Stream project where Russia is heavily involved. So Germany will be the last country that would step in the BS created by the US. Shall I remind you that Germany (and France too) was against US war in Iraq and the only country from coalition that was against war in Lybia?

I’m all for the US honoring its commitments, but that doesn’t mean we should get involved in every single conflict that Russia sticks its nose into.

 

Bosnia has to do with Iraq that as with Iraq, Germany will in no way get involved in the military actions imposed by the US.

 

I think there are many people in Germany think the same way as I do. Germany prefers to give money to the building North Stream, than to finance NATO- that is why not more than 1% from the Germany budget will be given to NATO. I think it is not totally a bad idea for Germany competely quit NATO. Finland, Sweden, Switzerland are not in NATO and are OK.

 

Reasons for both wars were different.

If the people in Germany had the strength of their convictions, they would eliminate all money from NATO and learn to stand on their own two feet.....something they haven't done in a long while. All the nations in the Balkans are militarizing, and Russia said it will give its full militarily support to Serbia. We're back to the wars of the past, when Muslims were supported by the West to fight the Orthodox, and Russia came to their defense.

There was an incident in Kosovo recently. A Serb representative Marko Duric was grabbed violently and taken to Pristina. The Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic used the harshest rhetoric in recent memory to describe the Albanian police who violently detained Duric, saying that this "gang supported by Western forces" bears full responsibility for the incident.

The problems have to do with Albania, and their quest for a greater Albania that will incorporate Kosovo, parts of Greece, Macedonia, Monte Negro, and Serbia. This is secretly backed by Soros, since it will stop Russia's gas pipelines going through the Balkans, as well as China trade route that will take goods from the Greek port of Piraeus to Belgrade.

All these projects would raise the standard of living in those countries, but it matters not to the US who only thinks in terms of competition, or to the EU who doesn't give a damn about any nation other than Germany. So with the threats and war that is pending between Cyprus and Greece with Turkey, there is a war pending between Serbia and Albania.

What is interesting is that Albania is allied with Turkey, and Turkey considers itself a protectorate of Bosnia, while Russia gives its full support to Serbia. So to make this even more confusing, Russia is allied with Cyprus, and its sovereignty is being threatened by Turkey, while Cyprus and Greece are also part of Nato - as is Turkey.
