Well another brand of [urine] water to add to the do not buy list. Not that I drink it to begin with. After seeing one woke beer ad train wreck, the monkey see monkey do mentallity kicks in for Miller Lite I guess. Probably another marketing MBA came up with this. The ad describes the sexual exploitation of women in beer ads -- but I noticed the spokesperson was attractive and had a nice tight sweater. I guess they think they are hip or cute or something with the use of "S#!T" -- sort of like a kid at the third grade picnic.
These companies need to stay out of politics, but since we have a new crop of woke marketing majors graduating from college, we are going to get more and more of this.
I don't drink beer, but it used to be my understanding that people liked Miller Lite better than Bud Lite. BTW for the fun of it, here is a Civil War token that was issued by the founder of the company, Fredrick Miller. The company has passed through many hands since then.
And I think anyone getting upset at a commercial is acting like a third grader. And no I don’t think beer commercials have sexually exploited women. I also think anyone who thinks they can changed their gender is a nut job.
That woman needs to just shut up and bring me a beer... Or a sandwich....hell with it, just bring me a beer and a sandwich.
Woke will die on Tecate Hill. Topple statues, burn flags, piss on The Constitution if this is how deranged you all are, but you f*ck our beer and you will meet a hundred million guys willing to pull your ovaries out of your ears.
And yet people are upset over the commercial claiming such. Seems both sides have their share of Karen’s.
I quite like the Miller with Lime beers on a hot day. We don't get Miller Lite in Australia (thankfully). If you like Miller Lite then either get your head examined for drinking such weak piss, or keep drinking what you like. Boycotts are stupid. On the American beer side I recommend Sierra Nevada's range, or a few years back I had a carton of imported California Beer Co. or something like that, it was a Steam Beer. I loved it but have not been able to find it since. Better yet, seek out your local craft brewery, or BREW YOUR OWN! Nothing is more American than free enterprise, so get out there and make some of your own. You can even grow the hops if you're crafty.
Anyone who refuses to drink their brand because of ad or what's printed on the can really needs help. For me, taste is all I give a damn about, they could put an armadillo wearing a tutu on the can, but it if tastes great, that's all I care about. I live in San Diego, which has over 150 micro breweries, many with some crazy names, like the Belching Beaver. If it tastes good, who cares what it is called?
