Anti-Gun People: What is the proper course of action if you are attacked?

There are always people who like to make ugly ignorant remarks or stupid "advice', but it only says something about them.

As for what things do or dont represent-

I guess I didnt think of it in terms of what it represents. I just see it as a practical necessity, physically and mentally. it provides a degree of freedom.
Or did, Im not there now, and have no weapon at all here. i dont feel like I need one, and thats all the better.

When im in the US again, i will see then what I want to do.

Thats maybe a bit over-analytical, but sure. Nobody wants it to happen again
