89 years ago, Jacob de Haan was assassinated in Palestine by Zionist extremists. He was critisized for his anti-Zionist views, even though he was working on a deal with the Arabs to allow unlimited Jewish immigration to Palestine, which would have saved hundreds of thousands of Jews from the Holocaust.

Why are participants of these forums afraid to give an opinion about this crime?

Years ago an Adventist preacher and I had a conversation about the WW2. He was with the idea that the prosecution, persecution and killing of Jews in this war was the "Hand of God". Other religious people to whom I have talk on this topic as well, have game me a similar response. Amanzingly, they do support Israel as the chosen people but reject Zionism as the right tool.

The understanding is that when in 1918 the England army took posesion of Palestine, a call was made to every Jew in Europe and other parts of the world to migrate to Palestine and create the State of Israel.

But, Jewish families in Europe ignored the call, because they were settled and living so well in Europe that they didn't feel right to migrate to a land full of sand and rocks. Here is when the "Hand of God" became to be, by using Hitler to take away their wealthy and force them to migrate to Palestine the right way or the hard way.

The hard way worked very well, because in 1948 the State of Israel was born.

In the following years after the creation of this new State, lots of pamphlets run the cities of the world between the 50's and 60's. In this pamplets it was informed how croocked Jews bought lands to Palestinians in order to become the owners of the majoority of the entire land, etc. etc. The motive of this information was to create an hostile environment to Jews around the world. Of course, it was too late to reverse the new State of Israel into the former Palestine, and only groups from the left used it to gain more affiliates. The effect of the pamphlets was almost none.

The Jewish immigrants used a new technology to save water against the heat of the day, and they applied the famous irrigation by drops of water continually falling into each plant. Slowly but surely the green color of the land started to prevail over the former sand and rocks.

The Arabs saw the change. Before they made no big complaint because it was not worthy to fight for lands with sand and rocks, but after seeing the great improvenment and the grerat produce obtained from Israel, they decided to take it by force... but they were defeated in six days.

The point is that this man, who was trying to comply with the call made to the Jewish to create the State of Israel, and worked to make easy the acceptance of the new immigrants was stopped by extremists who had a different vision.

But surely, what Zionism apparently caused by doing so was, as Ronstar suggests, the death of hundreds of thousands of Jewish, who instead of being in Europe they should be living in Palestine far away from Hitler and his war.

It is too late to point fingers and accusing who did what to whom, but it's never late to know that things should be different if not because the extremist tendencies of some groups.
