    A lot of police died during and after 9/11 from the toxic materials and asbestos the buildings were constructed from.

    NYPD was not at the forefront of 9/11 rescue. Firefighters were.

    In fact, the police allowed the release of apprehended people who should have been further investigated.

    It's far-fetched to call dead police 9/11 heroes.

    I have an uncle that is a very large man... larger than this cop. He pulled a woman out of a burning car a few years back and then her dog (that was injured) saving both of them. But, by depraved Leftist logic, he is not a hero for his actions, because he is fat. Merit means nothing to depraved Leftists.
