My opinion is that is abuse of elected power.
senator instructing his son to create a warrant to manhandle larry sinclair.

Is it legal ethical or become common practice ?

Delaware claimed up on the taboo, suffice to say for doing this became vice president.

I think it's a government perpetrated hate crime. Mister Sinclair was gay and disabled.
Another big part of it is how fakenews protected obama.
Not a mention of joe & beau.

    This might provide more information:
Bloggers Get Obama Accuser Hauled Off in Handcuffs, Sarah Lai Stirland, Wired (magazine), June 19, 2008

"Larry Sinclair, the man who claims to have had a naughty encounter with Barack Obama back in 1999, stood at a podium at the National Press Club, rattling off a litany of increasingly detailed minutiae about the incident before taking questions and exiting the building. He was arrested on his way out.
Two members of the U.S. Marshals' Regional Fugitive Task Force took him into custody after the press conference was over, says his lawyer, Montgomery Blair Sibley."
Details on Larry Sinclair's Arrest, by Christopher Beam, Slate, June 19, 2008

According to the article, the charge that he was arrested for was "larceny", originating from the state of Delaware. (This despite the fact that Larry Sinclair was visiting Delaware to give the talk, and lived in Minnesota)
(larceny is one legal term for the illegal taking of the property of another)

Slates one of fifty who never mention bidens.
I think it's like Hillary telling pat Smith she would jail that California maker of the video that caused the benghazi slaughter, then she did.
. It's pattern Dem strategy, most people have no idea how complicit our "journalism". Thanks for the reply, I need a constitutional expert, this subject is Uber taboo, so I know it's something. The quid pro quo to get the nomination, is scandal, I'll file some foias.
I don't know if this is legal or accepted practice, but I'm going to find out unless they whack me first.
    Press Club is in DC.

    from the Wired article:
The arrest followed a failed campaign by Firedoglake, a leading liberal blog, to prevent Sinclair from airing his allegations at the prestigious Press Club.
But a couple blogging from Paris then began trying to arrange for his arrest at the appearance -- a plan that seems to have succeeded.
"After a phone call to the Washington, D.C. Police, we have verified that Lawrence Wayne Sinclair has been arrested at the National Press Club just after his press conference ended," bloggers at the Mitch and Nan Show trumpeted Thursday.
So it looks like some pro-Democrat activists ended up getting this man arrested, in retaliation for making embarrassing allegations about the Democrat candidate, soon-to-be new president, Obama.

The big question is, was he arrested for just cause, or were the criminal charges (that resulted in an arrest warrant) issued by a corrupt district attorney?

If he actually had committed a crime, or if there was legitimate reason to believe that he had committed a crime (or even if that arrest warrant had already existed prior to his allegations about Obama) then that would be one thing. In that case, some Democrat-supporting bloggers just did some digging for dirt, found out that an arrest warrant existed, informed the local law enforcement authorities, and got this man arrested. There may or may not have been some political bias on the part of the local authorities in that area, but in this case it would not be so bad.

To be able to have some idea if the arrest warrant was justified, we would need to have more information.

What's interesting is some news sources seem to be saying the arrest warrant came from out of state (presumably Minnesota in that case) and other news sources seem to be saying the arrest warrant came from Delaware (the state he was arrested in while visiting).

    from The Daily Mail:
"The press conference ended in Sinclair's arrest on an open warrant from Delaware, after liberal bloggers who supported Obama apparently tipped off DC police to his scheduled appearance."

Tucker Carlson to air interview with Larry Sinclair, the convicted con artist who claimed he smoked crack and had sex with Barack Obama in 1999 , September 5, 2023

    from the Wired article:
"A Minnesota man trying to get mainstream exposure for his claims that he once enjoyed sex and cocaine with Barack Obama made a scheduled appearance at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. Wednesday, and was promptly picked up by law enforcement on an out-of-state warrant."

    from Daily Kos:
"Sinclair was arrested by DC Police after 2 US Marshalls showed up and presented a warrant from the State of Delaware for Sinclair's arrest. Montgomery Blair Sibley, who's had his law license suspended by the District of Columbia and Florida, and who was previously Sinclair's attorney, reviewed the warrant and then Sinclair was led away.] Speculation is that the arrest stemmed from a Delaware warrant, although there is also an outstanding felony warrant out for Sinclair from the Pueblo County (CO [Colorado] ) Sheriff's Department"

This information apparently came from Blogger News Network.

BREAKING: Larry Sinclair arrested in D.C. (dailykos.com), by Dave Weigel, June 18, 2008
The journalist of this article says he was at the press conference where Sinclair was arrested.

"I attended Larry Sinclair's press conference today and was confused when he concluded by rushing out of the room, taking no more questions. The reason? He was arrested by the D.C. metropolitan police. I called the First District station where he was being held and confirmed that Lawrence Wayne Sinclair was charged as a fugitive from justice based on an outstanding warrant."

Another source I found, which is very obviously hostile to Sinclair, says, about the warrant from Pueblo County, Colorado,
"The outstanding warrant for Sinclair's arrest is for forging an acquaintance's signature and stealing her tax refunds."
And says that Sinclair admitted to it, after the existence of the warrant was made public.

I cannot confirm whether this is true.

But it looks like he must have been arrested on some other warrant and that the warrant from Pueblo County has nothing to do with his arrest.

"Liberal bloggers have started a petition protesting Sinclair's appearance at the NPC [National Press Club], which they believe will only lend him undeserved credibility. But it appears that the appearance will go forward anyway, as the NPC says it does not turn people away because of the content of their message.
Colorado has an open warrant for Sinclair's arrest, Politico's Ben Smith reports, but the warrant does not allow for interstate extradition, so there's little chance his appearance will lead to his incarceration."

This is from the publisher's review of Sinclair's book, "Barack Obama & Larry Sinclair: Cocaine, Sex, Lies & Murder?" (published January 1, 2009 ) :

"You'll read how Vice President Joe Biden's son, Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden, issued an arrest warrant on completely false, fabricated charges to attempt to discredit Mr. Sinclair's National Press Club news conference. This is a staggeringly true story of how the sitting U.S. President with the help of the Mainstream Media, the Chicago Police Department, the FBI, the Delaware Attorney General and others got away with murder and more..."

(The reference to "murder" relates to someone in Obama's Chicago church that Sinclair supposedly suspects may have been murdered to cover up implicating Obama in a sexual scandal. Since Sinclair claims he received a text from someone named "Mr. Young" in late October 2007, and then later discovered there was a person named Donald Young who was the choir director of the church, openly homosexual, and was murdered on December 23, 2007 )

Huffington uses some pretty not politically correct.
Without journalism, Sinclair is relegated to obscurity
That's a testimony of the power of corrupt media.
