I just adore Rita on Sky news. She has a wonderful way with the English language and it is not even her first language. She was born in the USA, grew up in Iran until age 8 when her family came to Australia as refugees from the extremists there. Some of her gems.. Rita on Kamala.

obviously, this forum has no boundaries other than English being the language used to communicate how much information is possible to receive across an ocean?? How can reading a story or a newsclip give a person a realistic view of a community ?? I read stories about the bad economy in the USA.. BUT I challenge any person reading this to go to a costco, sams club , walmart or target.. and I will bet $10 bucks to a donut people will be lined up buying things, mostly things not needed how many people actually need 20 pounds of almonds or candy bars?? or 100 rolls of toilet paper? I have been to costco and thought to myself, these people act like the stuff here is free same can be said for the cars in the parking lot..most cars are all under 5-10 years old and car sales are increasing because people have money what I find funny is at costco a $100,000 Mercedes is sitting in line to buy cheap gas and save 5 bucks a tank it is more fun to bitch and whine than be positive and tell the truth without bitching and whining some people would not be able to shop at costco

I will he stopping at first Walmart and then Sam's on my way home after lunch here. I like everyone else will be buying my necessary groceries and household items on my shopping list. I have a pantry room where I can store the larger purchases which have a lower unit cost as I try to deal with Bidenflation while on a fixed income. You seem to oppose saving money and prefer to demean those of us who have strive to do so. I'm in my 2004 MX-5 Mazdaspeed because it is a beautiful day else I would be in my 2013 Hyundai Sonata with 235,000 miles on it. Perhaps you don't understand how that person can afford that $100,000 car. They manage their expenses.

American here. I live in the heartland where my county is filled with wealthy farmers who cry poor poor me Dirt farmers use equipment and chemicals to farm. Gone are the days of working the fields a kid down the road is a junior in high school. 17 years old He drives a $80,000 dollar pickup truck to school everyday ..and his daddy calls it farm equipment to get the tax deductions Al the while the daddy has his hand out for the subsidies the farmers clip from the government then the same rich guy gets angry that a poor kids get food stamps

Anybody that listens to a reporter that is 8000 miles away and not a citizen of the country is ill informed kinda like a US citizen reporting on things in Australia with never going here during the pandemic US reporters said many things about Australia .but when you talk with people actually in Australia you will have better information kinda like buzz aldrin can report on being in space because he has been there other reports about being in space are second hand and no first hand knowledge is reported because the reporter can only report the information second hand so go ahead. Listen to a reporter 8000 miles away. There is only one reason you like this reporter you like the things she is saying She is just parroting Fox News or Newsmax maybe I should ask a. I live in the heartland and in the country where I am surrounded by farmers. They are good folks and not all that wealthy. Farmers have been using equipment and chemicals for centuries. Would you rather see them try to earn a living tilling a 30 acre field with a shovel? These people produce the food you eat. How much do you want to pay for the food? So the truck belongs to the farmer not the son. Have you reviewed the tax laws to determine that he cannot make such a deduction? I get a government handout for soil conservation by maintaining a hay field. I didn't ask for it. It was offered and accepted. If someone offers you money, do you refuse it? I don't even maintain the field. I'm busy with my e-commerce business. I lease the hay field to a local farmer. You want to take that up with the ag department, not the farmer. I'm not familiar with the rules surrounding food stamps but I tend to think they aren't available to dependent children. Perhaps I'm wrong. Perhaps you can improve my knowledge on the program.
