I am. I can't wait. It holds the promise to bring the term "project computer" to a whole new level. I've messed with mini-itx in the past but due to budget concerns, I never really get to play around at the level I want. Raspberry Pi could very well change that. Not only that, it could give a HUGE boost to Linux. Just looks like ALOT of potential fun for $25.00. Can't wait to get my hands on one to try as an XBMC HTPC. The specs says that it'll decode 1080p... 700MHz ARM11 128MB of SDRAM OpenGL ES 2.0 1080p30 H.264 high-profile decode Composite and HDMI video output USB 2.0 SD/MMC/SDIO memory card slot General-purpose I/O
This sort of thing has never caught on. It won't work unless some company can fund it enough to put ads on TV, and get it on store shelves in a convenient plastic clamshell. It's really a hard sell even then, because more conventional and more powerful computers aren't very expensive.
