It never fails! There is always one or 2 people with no mask and at least 3 people with the mask under their nose
    What the hell!!?
I thought this stuff was being enforced in nyc
Meanwhile they are vaccine carding people I. Restaurants but then cramming peopling like sardines
Just more validation of Libs using this virus for political gains and not actually enforcing it

    sad!

Not in NYC but saw a guy yesterday wearing gloves but no masks. I guess the shots protect against the breathing COVID but not the touching COVID.

What are they supposed to do? Shut the subway down completely?

Also, I see the rule holds true -- the most vociferous online conservatives live in the bluest states

I don't think Darth is for real. He is way too hyper. He might be from another planet. Or, worse (yet!), he might be a lib in the closet. ;-) [He's going to zap me for that one! ;-0)

From where do you hail, @Darthcervantes? We won't tell your secret. What planet? ;-0

And yet COVID is in control in blue states and running wild in red states. At this point it actually IS partisan. Partisan stupidity.

"During the early months of Covid-19 vaccinations, several major demographic groups lagged in receiving shots, including Black Americans, Latino Americans and Republican voters.

More recently, the racial gaps — while still existing — have narrowed. The partisan gap, however, continues to be enormous. A Pew Research Center poll last month found that 86 percent of Democratic voters had received at least one shot, compared with 60 percent of Republican voters.

The political divide over vaccinations is so large that almost every reliably blue state now has a higher vaccination rate than almost every reliably red state"

That's good. I like your idea of using Uber instead. Hope your family member improves.

It’s 30 bucks Uber vs 2.75 cents for subway but I’m thinking screw the money

It’s a little cheaper. I’m using a combo of Uber, Lyft and curb (curb is an app for cabs that works kind of like Uber)
Uber is the most expensive but I still use it because I get Uber bucks from this restaurant app that I use

Thanks. You would have to pay me a lot of money to go back to NYC. :)

Hope your family health situation improves and stay safe.

That is so worth it. I needed a shower after reading about that train ride. :)

Hope your family member is ok and on the road to recovery.

My wife and I have visited NYC a lot over the last 40 years. In all that time I don’t remember ever taking a cab. We’d drive in, park the car in a garage and travel around by subway, bus, and walking. We’d stay somewhere in mid-town and do trips from there. On Saturdays I’d get up early, grab a bagel somewhere and walk down to Union Square where there was a farmers market every weekend. Take the train back in the afternoon.

Exactly. The irony is that they are firing people for not being vaccinated and yet if you are unvaccinated and getting tested every week you are far more less likely to be spreading the virus than the vaccinated who don't get tested. And the left have continually railed against the unmasked for spreading the virus but the masked can wear masks that are only 10% effective and they don't have to be worn properly either. As long as you are wearing a mask you are not attacked but the unmasked are spreading the virus everywhere. And, I have said this numerous times, how stupid it is to have to wear a mask to enter a restaurant, be inside for an hour with your masks off along with many others having their masks off, and then you have to put your mask back on when you get up to leave, as if you can't possibly catch the virus while eating inside with others with your masks off but going in and out of the door is just way too dangerous.

Masks don't do much to stop covid spread. Is this not blatantly obvious to everyone by now?

No. It’s not. Because your statement is a flat out lie.
