    I did.
One thing that really surprised me is that virtually all of you criticized
taking out Usama bin Laden and Awlaki. I watched as Republicans
looked like broadcasters for the ACLU network!
There is a SHORT window for success when self-proclaimed members and leaders of Al Qaeda become accessible to our forces. Do you really think we should mirandize them or wait for an act of congress before taking decisive action against our enemies?

    Anyone care to Pre-Debate?)

I know of no Republican who criticized the taking out of bin Laden.

And if anything was said against taking out Awalaki it had more to do with the Dems hypocrisy from when Bush was president and now that Obama is president.....and using drones even more.

Republicans are hawkish about our defense all the time and are far more consistent about that than Dems are. Dems are only hawkish when a Democrat is president and can't seem to get beyond politics.

That is exactly the type of war these terrorists deserve, and understand.

They should have been doing that since day "ONE", when we had the international community behind us in full force. Seek, identify, and exterminate with extreme prejudice. The only thing better would be to take them out in groups of eleven every 11 days, just to assure the cretins that we are serious and not going to be messed with.

The only thing we did wrong with Pakistan was not (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) slap em for lying to us and getting offended when we had to do it without their OK!!

As far as Bush (The Idiot, not the good one) goes, I was critical as hell of him on Iraq. Lied about WMD's? Ask a Conserv they'll say no way. Ask anyone else on the planet and they'll laugh. But okay, Saddam was a nasty guy. So is Aziz. Why didn't we invade Saudi Arabia? How about N. Korea, who was actually bragging about vilating UN treaties and building nukes before we went into Iraq? Because of our great love of the UN? That same UN who objected to us going in? Um yeah right. To spread democracy? That would kinda go right against everything Jefferson ever said about us not being the police of the world but rather spreading democracy by example, wouldn't it?

And guess what? LibDems are objecting to our presence in Afghanistan all the time! Right now! I criticized it until we got UBL. The dots were not difficult to connect. Afghanistan to the Islamibad to OBL. Fine. Finally we can actually say "Mission Accomplished". Now it's time to get out. Be hard for you to find a lot of LibDems who disagree with me on that.
So much for your theory about them not being able to get beyond politics...

    And Awlaki?

I agree with Ron Paul on most foreign policy issues. He's the only one up there that is not a war-monger.

    Yes!

    I submitted following question:

In the face of huge budget deficits and a military budget under strain, would you undertake an effort to pull back all American troops from Europe?

I agree with a LOT that Ron Paul has to say on a variety of issues but national security isn't one of them. I see no evidence that Al Qaeda would leave anyone, anywhere alone if we just "went away".

Here is a question for those candidates :

I would ask the presidential candidates this > Since the Muslim Brotherhood (in their 1991 Explanatory Memorandum) has declared their goal to destroy America (and all of western civilization), shouldn't the Muslim Brotherhood, and all their front organizations (designated by the US Justice Dept) be banned in America ? And if not, why not ?

The Us Justice Department has designated dozens (if not hundreds) of organizations Muslim Brotherhood front organizations. A list of dozens of these is in the book Muslim Mafia by PDavid Gaubatz and Paul Sperry on page 235. Here's a few of them :

    1. CAIR - Council on American Islamic Relations

    2. MSA - Muslim Students Association

    3. NAIT - North American Islamic Trust

    4. ISNA - Islamic Society of North America

    5. AMC - American Muslim Council

    6. MAS - Muslim American Society

    7. IIIT - International Institute of Islamic Thought
