Anyone know if they still sell this stuff? My dad used it to fireproof our ducts

    Asbestos is a four letter word these days so I doubt it's available

    illegal to sell nowadays..and what is also not good for heat ducts..duct tape..they make special tape for ducts

    originally it was called duct tape..but years later they changed the name to duck tape...so brands still use duct tape as the name...but doesn't last long on heat vents...

    Wrong, originally it was duck tape (and it was green), then it was renamed duct tape (and the color was changed to silver), and now there is a brand name called Duck Tape (and you can get it in almost any color/pattern you can imagine). Read the link I posted.
