My current laptop is kinda old school, no real graphics card, just a standard VGA adapter. This means I can't run many animation software, like Blender or Lightwave, and definitely not Maya, lol. Still, it will run the oldest Unreal Tournament, and I enjoy making maps for the game, and I actually use UT's map editor in conjunction with VSDC Freeware Video Editor as my 3d Animation software. I just wanted to know if anyone else still plays this game, and/or makes levels for it. I'd really like to start/join a clan for online play.

If anyone is into this stuff, please let me know :)

(I don't care what your political affiliation is, if you like UT99, you like it and I need someone to play with) - God that didn't sound right!

I love that old game, and happily it runs nicely under Wine. I've never tried editing maps, though that's due more to my history with the game being on Mac rather than Windows, where a map editor was not included :(

But yeah, I and someone else I know might still play it given an opportunity! Work keeps me pretty busy, and work + family keeps my friend even more busy, but playing UT99 sometime is likely to be a possibility!
