I think that's an important question to be able to answer prior to developing policy to combat its cause.

Only if you cherry pick them from a whole sentence.

Some folks will fall for anything.

I know what he said, I also know that he downplayed the virus in the very next sentence.

What do you believe he was referring to by saying this is the new Democratic hoax?
I know y’all say he wasn’t referring to the virus itself (even though he downplayed it until March and continued to hold rallies until he moved them to press briefings) — was he talking about Democrats worry was a hoax? Or them calling him out for not taking it seriously?

What was he calling a hoax?

Doing better than most countries? By what metric?
Since you believe Democrats were the ones that failed to take this seriously, can you name the first five states to institute safer at home orders and the sates that still have yet to do so — feel free to list what political party their governor is.

He literally downplayed the virus in the same speech:
One of my people came up to me and said, ‘Mr. President, they tried to beat you on Russia, Russia, Russia. That didn’t work out too well. They couldn’t do it. They tried the impeachment hoax. That was on a perfect conversation. They tried anything, they tried it over and over, they’ve been doing it since you got in. It’s all turning, they lost, it’s all turning. Think of it. Think of it. And this is their new hoax. But you know, we did something that’s been pretty amazing. We’re 15 people [cases of coronavirus infection] in this massive country. And because of the fact that we went early, we went early, we could have had a lot more than that.

So a number that nobody heard of that I heard of recently and I was shocked to hear it, 35,000 people on average die each year from the flu. Did anyone know that? 35,000. That’s a lot of people. It could go to 100,000, it could be 27,000, they say usually a minimum of 27, it goes up to 100,000 people a year who die, and so far we have lost nobody to coronavirus in the United States. Nobody. And it doesn’t mean we won’t, and we are totally prepared, it doesn’t mean we won’t. But think of it. You hear 35 and 40,000 people, and we’ve lost nobody, and you wonder, the press is in hysteria mode.

It is intellectually dishonest to act like he was taking this serious. Furthermore much of his base and pundits in the White House propaganda network called it a hoax (referencing his words) for over a month after he said this.

U.S. State and local officials making major decisions based on a website that's less than a month old? Really? What kind of morons buy into that foolishness?

"The website says it is “built to enable political leaders to quickly make decisions in their Coronavirus response informed by best available data and modeling.”

But their crapola is turning out to make monkey's backsides out of those that relied on and cited their data. Voters please check which politicians relied on covidactnow.org's website they simply aren't worth voting for. covidactnow.org's Baron's of Boloney should be laughed right off the internet.

Na, I try not to be a partisan hack and post articles from sources that are so laughably biased. Others don’t share that principle however.

I don't start millions of race threads. You have such a strange obsession with minorities. Why is that?
