Can you smell the Billy Barr Executive Privilege defense arising? If for no other reason to tie everything up in the Courts for the next umpteen years while the funds are doled out, probably got the briefs already written

One of the major points that held up the needed stimulus package was this very oversight the Democrats wanted to prevent Trump from using the funds for his own personal slush fund, and now, with the bill just two hours old, Trump goes back on his commitment.

Now why would anyone think Trump wants to have control over the half trillion dollars to be dispersed without any transparency or accountability?

 

The GOP WANTED to keep the names of those who received BUSINESS bailouts secret, that's why Dem's. insisted on those provisions.
