Progressives only watch CNN and MSNBC. For balance, they sometimes watch ABC and CBS News plus the New York Times and Washington Post. There they learn that using the correct pronouns in front of LBGQ+ people is far more important than condemning the murders of Jewish women and children.

Even the elimination of Hamas won't end anything, the underlying issues will remain unresolved and the whole mess will just move on to whatever it's next phase is going to be. Sure, but you can't really address it out of context like that, especially when you're talking about "finishing" anything. Hamas' most recent escalation of terrorism would be in response (though not a legitimate one) to previous events and situations, they very fact Hamas was in the position of authority to be able to do so was due to previous events going back decades. And unfortunately, whatever Israel does in response, even if it is the best (or least worst) option, even if they're successful in eradicating Hamas, that will have ongoing consequences too. Ultimately, the whole situation is, and long has been, an complete mess and sorry, but anyone who suggests they have a simple answer to even one part of it is either a liar or a fool.
