I sure notice it. I really notice that none of the deniers can respond intelligently with any actual contrary evidence to the scientific evidence of the un-naturally rapid changes in the Arctic, like this one that I just posted, even though it bears directly on the topic of the thread. Response to it: (crickets)...

There is no evidence of an 'abrupt alteration' in Earth's climate currently.

I guess being in denial is sort of the definition of a 'denier'. Perhaps if you opened your eyes and looked.....like maybe at the "evidence" that convinced all of these guys.....don't be afraid, go ahead and look....the evidence that they base these conclusions on is all available.....

    The American Chemical Society stated:

Careful and comprehensive scientific assessments have clearly demonstrated that the Earth’s climate system is changing rapidly in response to growing atmospheric burdens of greenhouse gases and absorbing aerosol particles (IPCC, 2007). There is very little room for doubt that observed climate trends are due to human activities. The threats are serious and action is urgently needed to mitigate the risks of climate change.

The reality of global warming, its current serious and potentially disastrous impacts on Earth system properties, and the key role emissions from human activities play in driving these phenomena have been recognized by earlier versions of this ACS policy statement (ACS, 2004), by other major scientific societies, including the American Geophysical Union (AGU, 2003), the American Meteorological Society (AMS, 2007) and the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS, 2007), and by the U. S. National Academies and ten other leading national academies of science (NA, 2005).

I will not waste my time replying to you again as it is obvious you do not even want to debate - just deny

    Good-bye

so in other words, you think AGW is an american political discussion rather than a global issue.

personally, I think it is important to understand it is a scientific discussion.

only the scientifically illiterate regard it exclusively as a political issue.

and only the really stupid think it is about american partisan politics.

When scientists who are paid by grants by our Government have been busted making data up to support the continuance of global warming science grants too their organization, it becomes an atrocity at the expense of real science and tax payer money... Its unfortunate but it happened... There is no denying that fact!

you should get your facts straight, kid.

the REAL scientists don't dispute AGW - only the frauds do.

At least its such a money maker that they don't let any opposing scientists into the ball game as contributors, even deliberately soiling them outside forums and not allowing the opposing scientists too enter the premises.... Grant money can corrupt and should be investigated....

    get off the grass!

check out some real science sites for a change!

here - check out some of these search engines and find out what scientists have to say about issues, instead of relying on mindless uneducated bloggers who can't tell the difference between a science journal and toilet paper.

uneducated or more likely lacking a comprehensive education...recent study of americans found that a large number have very poor grasp of hard and soft sciences, history among other subjects...the opinion was that the educational system allowed too many to opt out of core subjects in high school and post secondary levels...so they lack critical thinking skills and a general knowledge base which would give them the tools to "connect the dots" on various issues...

The fact is you show nothing. You say no valid facts but show no proof. Your opinions show you can not refute the facts of my links

You are wrong. GW scientists have to manipulate data to show what they show

Show policies that will lower temps. Obama wants E-15. That shows he is playing politics. The correct way would be E-85 which Obama ignores

Abrupt? 1 degree in 150 years? What we have is doom and gloom and hysteria over a small temp increase
