    Hello,

the human right ideology and tolerance was born during the french revolution even if they were premises for a long time before.

However we can see that in Europe this ideology only lead to zone of no rights and bombings.

Those ideologies looks like communism and colonialism : a lot of good feelings, but they're in reality terrific.

Did the human right ideology come during the french revolution or did the individual right ideology come during the french revolution?

The 'right of an individual' over the Population was never a good topic in ancient Government(s).

And that's why so many individuals love The U.S.A.

Because the individual right(s) are usually never infringed upon.

Who wouldn't 'LOVE' not having to work according to Population Standards?

Such needing to 'work' according to Population Standards is seen more as Communism or maybe even Socialism..

The U.S., even today, is beginning to see a schism forming in work related standards. I do believe, only an opinion and not fact, that The U.S. is the very first Country and Nation to experiment with this idea of 'individual rights' in work places.

A good example is 'multi-culturalism' being enforced in Private Enterprises.

If 'individual rights' are going to be enforced, Hiring Managers, who are individuals, would also be given 'individual hiring rights'.

The once, boards and Executives and Trustees, would be a thing of the past, once this gains speed. Public investors would need to 'invest' on popularity more than on the Business' statistics.

Which could be good, right? I mean, it isn't bad, right? At least there is no discrimination going around or humans being emotionally hurt, right? I mean, after all, if they are hired, why hurt their feelings? The Company needs to provide for the well being of the youths and entry levels entering in, right?

Soon, the company can begin holding marijuana breaks and little 'orgy' rooms so they can keep their minds on track and focused on their job...

    What is that saying again??

'Keep the employees happy and they will keep working for you'?

I mean, if this happens at home, why shouldn't it happen in the work place?

As the title to this thread was, 'Are human right and tolerance failed ideologies', we must not forget but remember that children are individual human(s) as well.

    Power to the Children.

    Proverbs 29:15
"...a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame."

himself here also can mean herself. a child.. both him and/or her.

Adults might know this, but who will teach the children?

@delade The declaration of rights of men and citizens who is the base of the human right declaration was pronounced in August 1789, the revolution started before but was inspired by european and american thinkers. That's the beginning of universalism and an undirect premise of colonialism.

Europe head to chaos, that's why I say it's not viable. It's full of good wishes, but if it lead its states to death and chaos, it is unusefull.

Do you have proof that Europe is heading to chaos? Also, you say that human rights is a failed ideology, but you give no evidence to support your claim.

You just have to live in western Europe. I'm not very old, but I saw sensible change like saying so many soldiers in the streets. When soldiers had off duty time, they made a point of honor of keeping their uniforms and now they are obliged to put civilian clothes.
Police, firemen have difficulties to intervene in some districts of "diversity" (hear by that there is no diversity at all, there is only muslims, all other minorities or the majority fled them).
