In-group bias/favouritism is well known, but it doesn't extend beyond ethnicity, not "race".

I very much doubt the NF and any other ethnic nationalist (probaby most people if you extract what they really feel) use the narrow scientific concept of "kin selection" as the justification for their feelings, not least because it doesn't make sense obviously. This is clearly some lame strawman by Dawkins. As if that was the only mechanism operating anyway. Humans may indeed have some wider genetic similarity preference, in terms of concepts of beauty and ugliness (I am sure they do), preferences for behaviors caused by genetics, and of course cultural preferences.
