~ In order to believe in any sort of creationism/God requires faith. Some have this - some do not. I do not think that science can "prove" most of the things that the Bible speaks of. Much does not make sense or logic.
To me it is interesting how a near-death experience often change the person to no longer fear death or life - regardless of that individual's prior beliefs. They become convinced of an afterlife. There could be other dimensions that we know nothing about .

Here is a nice refutation of the biblical account of the flood. We have lot of ice core data up in the arctic. If we had a global flood, this ice would have been destroyed. So this ice must have formed after the flood. The bible actually lists the generations from Noah to Jesus (66 generations) and its pretty clear that only a few thousand years passed between then and now. Every ring in the ice core data represents a year when a new layer of ice froze. Problem is that this ice core data goes back hundreds of thousands of years, not just a few thousand.

 

There is NOTHING scientific about it. Its purely entertainment and nothing more.

Ken Ham is an idiot. The earth is not 6000 years old. Thats just a stupid belief. Period. Man and Dinosaurs did not live together in harmony. Thats one of the dumbest things I have ever heard.

I don't know, but I assume Adam wasn't created as a baby. When Jesus in the miracle of loaves and fishes multiplied fish, they were adult fish.

 

Since you're an expert on the arctic, how is it we see thousand of mammoths frozen together, with tropical food still in their teeth, almost as if they had been drowned? The animals we've uncovered have meat fresh enough to be eaten by dogs.

Some questions here. How do you know the food was tropical? Plants do not fossilize as easily as bones do, so I'm curious how well they were able to identify their food. But lets assume the plants were tropical.

Mammuthus meridionalis lived in tropical forests so maybe it was one of those. And in tropical forests floods happen all the time. Especially when the ice age was ending and the ice was melting.

But you said they were frozen together. How do you know from their fossils that they were frozen? Anything to indicate freezing? I ask this because if they had tropical plants in their mouths, they were in a tropical area, and couldn't have been frozen. Tropical plants can't grow in freezing areas.

And if there was a global flood, these mammoths would have been buried in sediment by the flood, and wouldn't have been frozen either. The bible describes the flood as happening from rain that gradually increased the water levels over many days. This is slow flooding rather than flash flooding. In a global flood scenario, once the water started to rise, the mammoths would have been running around looking for high ground, and wouldn't have been eating something when they died.
