An ad that features nothing but white infantry, this is a very interesting twist. People are speculating that they are gearing up for war and need cannon fodder. Very unusual. When is the last time the Army has had a recruiting ad with just white men in it? This ad should be banned! It discounts the contributions our female, nonbinary, and other LGBTQWERTY+ soldiers will be making in the next war. Take a back seat white (blech!) men!
I cannot really tell about the jumpmaster but he appears to be of some ethnicity and a person at the 27 second mark appears to be a lighter skin black female. The ad just focuses mostly on 1 person who is white.
Methinks this is a strategy at misdirection. The future of our military rests in the migrants who are more willing to go fight who-knows-who, who-knows-where for don't-ask-why, in exchange for citizenship. Few others are willing to kill/die for our stupid and corrupt govt and the corporations that it works for. Apparently the PR camaign to hide the near-future demographics of our military is starting now. 'No its all white people!' Maybe they think the progs will suffer war losses better if they dont know its all dark-skinned migrants dying for the endless no-path-to-victory wars we're setting up for ourselves.
It is blowing up in their faces. They are getting lampooned on twitter. Their recruiting has dropped a staggering 25% this year alone and tracking is looking horrific. They have spent the last 3 years taking a dump on southern white boys and now they are reaping the benefits. Those guys are not coming back and China is not going away. Right wing youtubers are having a field day. Don't kid yourself though, the tip of the spear has always been mostly whites. The reason why is hand-eye coordination. I looked into this a few years back and read some papers on it. I linked one of them below. The only other group that is as good or possibly better than whites at markmanship is native Americans. They are overrepresented in elite units. It kind of makes sense when you realize that they used to shoot bows and rifles from horseback. They were and still are EXCEPTIONAL warriors. The only reason they lost was due to overwhelming numbers of whites. I dunno. I mean I believe certain ethnicities do have certain inherent advantages/disadvantages, but they're statistically irrelevant in almost all circumstances. Like Kenyans and running and Asians and math. Theres plenty of kenyans just as good at math as most asians, and plenty of asians who can still outrun most kenyans. The difference only comes up when you start looking at the extreme endpoints of the spectrums. But I guess in war the extremes prolly matter. I've been told that our military did some studies and found that Native Americans became less effective in battle with short hair, and in more elite units are allowed to grow it back out, working under the theory that humans (and especially Native Americans, apparently) can actually gain extra-sensory information about their environment from their hair, like 'sixth sense' kinda stuff. Supposedly elite units like Delta are allowed to have beards for this reason too, tho it hasn't yet been scientifically quantified, but is still sortof unspokenly accepted as a rule. But I would think if ancestral hand-eye coordination made the best warriors, we would be importing more Mongolians for our military.
Well of course the future will be immigrants. The pool of 18-24 year olds is shrinking and a great many of them are not going to bend over backwards just to get a slot because of the hassles if you have been in therapy or taken Big Pharma drugs. Add into that the number of people who smoke weed, and you are left with a kiddie pool to recruit from.
Those are factors, but its less that and more a general distrust of the govt. People arent joining the military because they don't think they'll be serving the interests of The People, rather the elite political and financial establishments that run everything now. Migrants tend to be less concerned about such things ...that's why they're fleeing their own shitty countries to get ahead here instead of making their home countries less shitty. And I suspect it'll turn out they will tend to flee battlefields in a similar manner...
Lets reinstate the draft and ban such people from being drafted....step one towards an all white army.
And if the ad had no white people they would have cried about that. Damned if they do, damned if they don't.
But they would be all but invulnerable because the enemy would be laughing so hard they couldn't shoot straight.
Did it occur to anyone that these aren’t paid actors but actual paratroopers and you can’t be racist for misrepresenting reality when you are literally showcasing it. Basically any charge of racism would have to therefore be based on the idea that the producers made a conscious decision to specifically look for a paratrooper unit which is all white. There doesn’t appear to be any evidence of that. Perhaps given a large enough body of evidence of ads made which feature no diversity you’d be able to get away with making such a claim. Given if that were the case the eagle eyed skin watchers would be telling us all about it, so I can safely conclude this is not the case either. So basically this ad says more about the biases of the people judging it than it does about those who made it. What else is new?
