Asian Spa prostitutes or nail technicians?

Why is this such a mystery? The shooter confessed that he had issues with prostitutes and was a regular customer at the “Asian massage parlors”. The media seems to be only portraying the victims as nail technicians and legal workers. It can’t be possible at this point that we don’t know. Do we know?

 

Well 2 + 2 = 4. Or, if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck -- it's a duck. The media has a narrative (what's new) and they must tilt the story to fit their narrative, thus they are being protective of the Asian ladies. The media is transparent, subjective, and they have no shame.

 

Asians aren't dumb. Any Asians that goes to college knows Democrats discriminate against Asians even more than whites. Race baiting Asians will not work. They know it is all a scam and that Democrat race baiting only fools the weak minded.

 

Does it matter? Is it germane to the crime? If they were sex dealers do they deserve death anymore than the used car salesman down the street?

He is the focus because it is HIS crime.

It’s outrageous that the media is doing this. Everyone should know what the truth is, and what the facts are. This is a bitter taste of what it is probably like in Counties like China and Iran, where no matter what the facts are, the State tells you “what happened “.

 

Of course it matters! Don’t you want to be able to think for yourself. Was it a hate crime or was it a psychosexual problem? How we as a society respond to it should always be contingent on the truth. Unless you are just willing to believe and accept anything , anyone tells you?

Regardless, publicly delving in to the specific private lives of the individual victims doesn't strike me as very respectful nor or any general value. There could be valid questions about this kind of "massage parlour" and prostitution in general (among the other aspects like metal health and firearms) but that doesn't need to and shouldn't be focused on the victims of this crime.

 

I wouldn't think someone who seeks out asian women to have sex with would harbor racist feelings about asians.

The media spin that direction to support their "asian hate crime wave" narrative preceding this event is predictable, but this horrific crime has nothing to do with asian hate.

This wasn't a hate crime, it was a crazy guy dealing with his demons in the most stupid and destructive way possible.

Really? I think it's perfectly viable for someone who routinely uses sex-workers to resent, objectify and dehumanise those sex-workers, possibly as a reflection of their own guilt, shame and lack of self-worth, and so seeking out kinds of people they don't have as much respect for in general.

That’s a fair argument that we should have. No one is saying they shouldn’t be protected. The media hiding or lying about the facts is something that should concern everyone. Do we want to be treated like we’re five? Bad precedent all around to turn a blind eye to the media or anyone that lies to us.

I think the truth is always good unless maybe you’re trying to protect kids. Remember when Trump didn’t want to tell Americans the truth about COVID, because he supposedly wanted to protect us and keep us from panicking? I think for better or worse, we are always better knowing the truth. If we allow it to go unchallenged, who gets to decide when and what we get lied to about next?

 

Right and? Don't you want to condemn the shooter's actions? By giving justification you take away the seriousness of the crime. More importantly you simply asking the question is giving into racist logic. Why should the media reproduce racism, especially given the number of hate crimes against Asian Americans right now?

 

The deranged suspect has already made it CLEAR (as clear as DERANGED thinking can be) why he did it. But it seems those with an agenda won't be satisfied until they can ice this tragic case with RACISM to boot...yeah, baby, that's ALL it could be!
