Keep waiting. Why should we give you any satisfaction in thinking we believe any of the tripe that’s spewed out by you.

    :roflol:

I recommend that you stick with your woowooism because that seems to be the only topic where you have any "expertise"!

You need to stop looking up what “woo woo” is in your personal make believe opinion based vocabulary source. You’re not even close.

England was working hard on separating its government from the church, and as you point out it had a king.

Our founders went further than that - our government is built on rights of man, including representation. These are not topics that are found in the Bible.

Religion is about duty to an overarching power. Nothing in our government's design is there due to some duty to an overarching power.

You're American? So how comes Trump has a panel of Evangelican Christians to advise him? And instructs god to bless America all the time.

    You can do that, too!!!

That doesn't mean it has anything to do with the structure of our government.

(I don't even know what the heck "god bless America" even means. I'd say we're royally blessed. And, given Matthew 25:31-end I'd say it's time Christians start asking god to bless the world.)

Did you read what I said? Trump is being advised by an extreme religious minority which affects government (assuming he understands anything, which is unlikely).
Quoting from the book of short fiction stories ain't going to help, neither.

    Yes, it does.

Decisions by individuals IS governance. That is called self governance. The source of the governance is internal (oneself), rather than external (some dictator/oligarchy/etc).

Yes, but note that God doesn't compel anyone to follow his will. Everyone is allowed to choose their own path in life; whether that be to accept him as LORD and Saviour, or whether that be to reject him as such. Everyone is allowed to govern themselves (to make their own decisions), but everyone is fully subject to any consequences which may arise from such governance.

Yup, and they devised them from the same model of self governance that Christianity makes use of.

    Yes they did.

Is intolerance always a bad thing?

    It is about both.

It comes from the self governance model that is present in Christianity.

And those "rights" that the founders made reference to were 'inherent rights' from their 'Creator'. That's right in line with Christianity as well...

I heard you. Lots of people seek out "extreme religious minority" advice. That's one of our rights.

We're supposed to be smart enough to hire a president who will abide by the structure of our government and work for the good of the whole nation.

When we blow it, our form of government says that is on those who voted.

This time, we even voted for someone who could not possibly care less about the law or the structure of our government. Did that come from the extreme religious minorities? I strongly doubt it. Surely it goes deeper than that.

There is nothing in the bible about humans having rights. That is a SECULAR concept. The statement about being from a creator is no more than a statement that they are inherent features of being human. It has nothing at all to do with being of some particular religion or relating to something in the bible.

Matthew 25:31- has Jesus telling his followers that the penalty for not doing as he says is eternal damnation - even for those who professed belief in him.

    THAT is compelling.

When talking about governance, let's keep the topic on government. It's obvious that those who hold positions can make decisions at various levels, but the issue of the structure of our government isn't the same as the issue of what decisions an individual makes within that framework.

He’s a minority president who won an election through voter suppression and holds power through gerrymandering. It’s Americas version of apartheid.

He’s allowed to choose anyone he wants that qualifies in his cabinet and as his advisors. So, the next president could choose a bunch of atheists.

You don't make any sense. It was Hillary and the Dems who rigged the voting machines in Texas and some other places where the machines had to be removed.

Trump's record shows exactly the opposite. The law has supported his positions, e.g. no mandatory early release of his tax records, the right to withhold funds slated for distribution to sanctuary cities, the right to build a wall, etc.
