Is this a case of monkey see, monkey do? Or did Australia act alone?

Apparently there's indications Obama is deeply involved in this:

Obama might even be spying on PF members!

Australia, UK, NZ, Canada all help the US with spying. They belong to the 5 eyes group. And they cannot spy on each other.

Given the track record of countries like Germany and France....keeping an eye on them I think is a GOOD thing.

Most of the spying is to gain an advantage economically.

And really there was no need to tap Merkeks phone. Germany is not the same country they were in the first half of the 1900s and neither is Japan, Italy etc.

We have found that certain German and French Authorities have tipped off certain groups about specific U.S. Anti-Terrorism Activities.

We were NOT happy about it.

This is information I am aware of but I know this issue has been raised before so a search upon this should provide you some information.

So on behalf of everyone here on PF, I searched up Alpha's information and this is what I "found"

    http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2003/dec/26/20031226-105058-5481r/

The "suspects" were listed on the "No-Fly List", you know, the same no-fly list that includes women and children.

    http://www.nbcnews.com/id/10725741/#.UnNBt_mkySo

Same one that our good ole government uses to create patsies and god know's what

    https://www.aclu.org/blog/national-security/no-fly-list-where-fbi-goes-fishing-informants

The aforementioned article about France even states that French authorities did their own investigation before finding nothing substantial out, same probably goes for Germany.

I'll thank the INTL. Community from keeping us from going more and more East Stasi Germany.

Let me explain to the furthest extent I can.

France has long term interests in North Africa, Middle Africa and the Middle East....and Germany as well has interests there and these interests are specific to French and German Energy Companies.

Now....if you are an Oil or Natural Gas rich country from this area of the world and a French or German Company offers certain....information which they PAID for from certain elements in their own countries in order to exchange such info for a contract specific for energy development, extraction and distribution....what do you think you are going to say when the NSA comes down on you like the Fist of GOD?

Thanks for the tip. And you are able to garner the information necessary to understand that Germany does not know anything from any of their sources and contacts that might help the US or be of interest of any kind not by reading the newspaper or public information sources but by knowing everything they might know and, how did you get this total package of information other than by spying or being part of the German intelligence service and, if so, isn't your government angry at you for divulging this information or, are they happy you are giving away German secrets to the world without proof of any kind?

Of course we're involved. We spent billions of dollars, not to mention lives, on a US war of aggression half way around the world that created a security threat for us. Our government would collectively suck the particulars of the Americans' in a heartbeat, of course we're involved in the US spy scandal.

It is pretty much a war of aggression at this point, we don't have specific targets, nor do we know our enemy. "Al-Qaeda" has merely become a name, that can be invoked or dismissed at any time by the U.S "intelligence community", which is looking less like an intelligence community and more like a bunch of thugs who intimidate and/or otherwise create fabricated enemies to sell to the world.

    (See: Syria).
