Australia whats up with this?

In Australia we also have the right to challenge a law before it is enacted. We have an identical system to your Supreme Court and works exactly the same way. And if you dont mind me saying, was the greatest invention the USA ever gave to the world

 

Although not directed at me I would offer the following. Two things came from the new gun laws. Bryant would never pass the background check, and even if he did pass, the limits on weapons would mean his ability to cause harm are greatly reduced

 

How so if there is and always has been a black market for guns and ammo...I mean given what I have posted previously about where guns are coming from in Australia?

 

It is one thing to have a black market and another to access it if you do not have criminal connections

 

In Bryant's specific case he would have not been even close to being smart enough to go that route. He is barely a functioning human being, he has a recorded IQ of 66

you have to go to your government (Oz) to get the many blessings of privileges. Since that government bestowed them upon you, they have the power to take them away.
It is the opposite over here. The government has to show just cause to remove them. But according to our law, they cannot remove Rights, singularly or collectively without going to court. We hold our Rights, not the government
OZ"s people do not hold Rights, they collectively enjoy privileges.

It's interesting that this looks at numbers of incidents only, and not per capita information... conveniently ignoring the fact that Australia's population was about 18.5 million in 1997 (http://www.aifs.gov.au/institute/pubs/briefing10.pdf), and is now 120% of that (currently around 23.3 million).

It's also interesting that your link doesn't provide any sources for the information.

The increase in the volume of negative information regarding the gun control initiatives in Australia has got to be sobering to anyone who believes regulating guns in that manner has any effect....eh?

 

Since it is from "free republic" probably not - on a scale of 1-5 for conspiracy sites it rates around 4.8

Those pictures LOOK like they came from the AIC but when you google image them - you find out that they originally seem to have come from pro-gun sites - and do you know WHY I know they are not from the AIC???

Because the data is not collected under "rape" under our statutes - you are charged with "sexual assault" and that is what the data shows

Where I do use sites like Mojo I always make sure that there is a degree at least of journalistic integrity - that they have referenced where they got their data or at the very least have used figures consistent with what is in the official sites
