Authorities raid Michigan home of high-ranking Homeland Security official Vance Callender (msn.com) Authorities raided the Michigan home of a top U.S. Homeland Security Investigations official and seized several items from the residence, a neighbor said Tuesday. Callender, 49, was appointed the top HSI agent in Michigan and Ohio in January 2020. HSI is a division of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, an agency of the Department of Homeland Security. The agents supervised by Callender enforce immigration and customs laws, and investigate criminal organizations for drug smuggling, financial crimes, human trafficking, and other activities.
What I find interesting is that he is over immigration and customs. Didn't they also raid another immigration official's home in Texas or thereabouts last week?
This story is meaningless without some idea of what they were searching for, or what he's suspected of. The article includes a lot of nothing.
Where do you get the information that this guy is a white supremacist? The article made no such suggestion.
FOR WHAT REASON? Seriously, there's no context here. Why post a lot of nothing? Why not wait until we at least know what he's suspected of?
