(*)(*)(*)(*) the soviets are coming! No reds cum'n on my soil! Bachmann is an idiot, but she's a hardcore social 'conservative' so she'll get die hard support from anyone who's a super christian. Everyone else wants nothing to do with her. Kinda like Palin, or that nut from Texas. I don't know that anyone other than social 'conservatives' actually belives social 'conservatives' anymore. They talk about balancing the budget, paying down the debt, and some reasonable things but I think we all know that once in office all they're going to do is try to keep the gays from getting married, try to ban abortion, stop embryonic stem cell research, and probably try to push just a little more jayzus into government (especially Perry). All that financial mumbo jumbo will get tossed out just like it did with Bush.
And Bachman hasn't learned anything in over 20 years. She's going for a knee jerk response to visions of the Cold War. The woman is a blooming idiot... And worse.. she thinks Americans are stupid and easily led.
My personal favorite is Bachmann's claim that she will bring gas prices down to under $2 a gallon - no indication of HOW she will do it - just that she will - and her mindless audience cheering and clapping in support. Which proves IMPO that a certain segment of our population ARE stupid and easily led.
