On 11 September soldiers and police opened fire at random killing four civilians and wounding several others. The shooting followed simultaneous attacks on police and military posts by Kurdish guerrillas. Today in Şemdinli and Yüksekova shops did not open as a sign of respect for the victims. The last victim, Resul Çetin will be buried tomorrow.
