BDP (Peace and Democracy Party) co-chair Gülten Kışanak, DTK (Democratic Society Congress) co-chairs Mardin deputy Ahmet Türk and Van deputy Aysel Tuğluk will be in Şemdinli today.

On 11 September soldiers and police opened fire at random killing four civilians and wounding several others. The shooting followed simultaneous attacks on police and military posts by Kurdish guerrillas.

Today in Şemdinli and Yüksekova shops did not open as a sign of respect for the victims. The last victim, Resul Çetin will be buried tomorrow.

Osman Erbaş (who was 14), Necdet Güreli and Tayyar Güreli died on Sunday, the night of the clashes, while Resul Çetin died yesterday in hospital.
