Ah, this is going to be one of THOSE arguments. Short answer is that a new covenant began between God and man at the death of Jesus on the cross. F'r instance, with the tearing of the curtain in the Temple, you no longer needed the priests to act as a go-between between you and God as God had made Himself known to the world thru Jesus.

A somewhat longer answer is that with the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, that all the other sacrifices became superfluous - that the sacrifices at the temple could only cover your sins for up to a year, but that the sacrifice of Jesus made it a one-time deal. The laws that God had established became replaced by a newer law in which, rather than man living up to the laws and constantly failing, that God reached down to man in a contract that could never fail because God cannot Himself fail.

An example of this would be God's dream sent to Peter changing the rules as to what kind of food would be acceptable for consumption in Acts 10: 15. New contract - new rules. Better yet would be Galatians 3:24 which states "Therefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith." In other words the law in and of itself could never save or forgive a sinful humanity, but it could point to Jesus who was the embodiment of what the law was meant to be.

Now, there's a much longer argument to be made as to why Christians don't have to follow the laws of Kosher and suchlike - but I suspect that you're not really interested in a reasoned argument but rather in simply being argumentative. All well and good. So, the answer to your question is that yes - Jesus got it right and always would.

Who knew that folksy ex-Veep Joe Biden was sitting on a dirty made-for-TV drama?

The news recently splashed across the New York tabloids that Hunter Biden, the surviving son of the ex-VP, is having an affair with Hallie Biden, the widow of Beau Biden, who died last year of brain cancer. She appropriately appears in all the family funeral pictures mourning alongside other family families.

Two months later, Hunter’s now estranged wife, Kathleen, was out. And now, Hallie is in.

As reported by NYP‘s Page Six, the divorce filings between Hunter and his estranged wife, Kathleen reveal so much more.

Namely, the family’s got debt because of bad boy Hunter Biden’s questionable spending habits that allegedly involve drugs, hookers, strip clubs, incredible debt and an $80,000 bauble that has disappeared.

In 2015, Hunter denied having a profile on Ashley Madison, the dating site for married people, despite the fact that the account was linked to his name and email.

While Kathleen’s filings reveal a den of filth involving other women, a double mortgage on the family home and unpaid taxes, Hunter Biden’s lawyer released a statement that says: “Hunter loves and admires Kathleen as a person, a mother and a friend. He hopes their privacy can be respected at this time.”

With five kids involved — three from Hunter’s marriage to Kathleen and two from Hallie and Beau — the family’s hot mess more than pulls at heartstrings.

To be fair, divorces are ugly as hell. So likely there are no entirely innocent parties here.

But in the meantime, how about those bounced checks to the housekeeper?

Earlier in the week, news broke that Biden is openly in a serious relationship with Hallie. The couple even enjoys the blessings of Joe Biden and his wife, Jill.

Every family has a black sheep. At 43, Hunter joined the military only to leave a year later after testing positive for cocaine use, as reported by WSJ.

But not every family has a black sheep who takes up with his brother’s wife after he dies.

Even if true how is this any of your or anyone else business! My only thought is that you posted this to show your raw hatred for anyone related to any member of the political party you hate. If she ever becomes Presidentress maybe then you can post something about her lurid affair if it she had one if it was lurid. Otherwise the position of everyone else is to ****!

 

I seen this happen to a friend of mine when his wife died a day after giving birth. Her sister took care of his baby and he ended up marrying his sister in law in a quite private ceremony and my wife and I were their witnesses. There was nothing tawdry or lurid about it.

 

Well, he left his current wife and three kids.

Sick.

 

What's sick is someone being judgmental when poking around in the private lives of others.
