Nancy Pelosi wants to retire! So says her daughter Alexandra: EXCLUSIVE: Nancy Pelosis Daughter: My Mom Wants to Leave Congress by Jeffrey Scott Shapiro http://biggovernment.com/jsshapiro/...osis-daughter-my-mom-wants-to-leave-congress/ Anybody that believes it has to believe that a parasite willingly walks away from a free lunch. Heres something you can believe: Nancy Pelosi, Dianne Feinstein Are Stinking Rich By Erin Sherbert Tue., Dec. 27 2011 at 3:00 PM http://blogs.sfweekly.com/thesnitch/2011/12/nancy_pelosi_dianne_feinstein.php Pelosis worth is pegged at $196,299,990. Can anybody tell me what Pelosi did to accumulate that much wealth? Instead of confiscating wealth from private sector Americans the Occupy Wall Street radicals Pelosi encourages should go after the ravenous maggots who get theirs from taxpayers without giving anything in return. And just to start the New Year off on another good year for Democrats the Culture of Corruption that Pelosi & Company vowed to end if they were put in charge is still in full swing: Obama, Holder among 'most corrupt politicians' America's top elected leader makes ethically challenged list yet again Posted: December 28, 2011 8:29 pm Eastern By Bob Unruh http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=381969
Anyone with access to the internet and half a brain can easily find out how Nancy Pelosi accumulated her wealth. She accumulated it the good old fashioned way- her husband made it. "Pelosi saw her wealth rise due to some stock gains and real estate investments made by her husband, Paul. Apple stock owned by Pelosi's spouse rose from at least $500,000 in 2009 to $1 million in 2010. The minority leader's husband also took a bigger stake in Matthews International Capital Management worth at least $5 million last year, compared to $1 million in 2009 and his investment in some undeveloped residential real estate in Sacramento, Calif., jumped to at least $5 million in value. Paul Pelosi also has sizable assets in the United Football League, including $1 million in a partnership interest in a Jacksonville, Fla., franchise and $5 million in a partnership interest for the Sacramento Lions." Of course...the number you cite- $196,299,990- isn't really an accurate or honest figure either- is it? But you knew that. According to the original source, her wealth is estimated at between $5,000,000 and $196,000,000. But you chose to claim her wealth to be only the highest estimated number. Funny how you left the rest of that out. Now who is at the top of the list? Darryl Issa- also from California- but a Republican. No complaints from you about his wealth- even though using your standards of full disclosure he would be worth 700 million. And seriously: http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=381969[/QUOTE] Any politician that WND writes a hit piece on should proclaim it proudly, just to show that the nutjobs at WND oppose them. WND would support Hitler if he ran on a platform opposed to Obama.
The implications in Alexandra Pelosis statement forced Nancy Pelosis surrogates to call the daughter a liar: An aide to House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is strongly denying a claim from her daughter that she is only staying in office because of her political donors. My guess is that Alexandra does not understand Moms love of power and the public trough: She would retire right now, if the donors she has didnt want her to stay so badly. They know she wants to leave, though, Alexandra Pelosi said. Alexandra probably thought she was telling the truth. Her mistake was telling the truth as she saw it. Telling the truth is the biggest no-no in politics. Coming from a family that has been feeding at the public trough for generations you would think that Alexandra knew that her statement, analyzed correctly, says that Nancys big money donors have not been paid off yet. If Nancy leaves before they are sated their gravy train comes to a screeching halt. The alternative is to believe that Nancys donors are so passionately committed to her goodness they want her to stay because the country needs her. Thats not the way donors think. At Nancys level of access to the public purse donors expect every dollar donated returned a hundredfold. There is also the possibility Nancys donors told her she has stay. Make whatever you will out of that scenario. Bottom line: Mother and daughter better get their stories straight. Pelosis office denies report that she wants to retire from Congress By Daniel Strauss - 12/29/11 05:22 PM ET An aide to House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is strongly denying a claim from her daughter that she is only staying in office because of her political donors. Pelosis daughter Alexandra Pelosi told the conservative site Big Government that the former Speaker wants to retire from Congress but has faced pressure from campaign contributors to continue serving. She would retire right now, if the donors she has didnt want her to stay so badly. They know she wants to leave, though, Alexandra Pelosi said. They think shes destined for the wilderness. She has very few days left. Shes 71, she wants to have a life, shes done. Its obligation, thats all Im saying. Pelosis daughter cautioned in a text message, however, that she had not talked with the minority leader about her take on the situation. I have never talked to Nancy Pelosi about any of this, she wrote in the text. In a statement Thursday, Pelosis office said the report on Big Government is totally untrue. This may be wishful thinking on the part of a right wing blog but it is totally untrue. When the day comes and Leader Pelosis work is done, she wont be announcing it there, Pelosi spokesman Nadeam Elshami said Thursday in a statement. There has been no indication among Pelosis Democratic colleagues that they are expecting her to retire. In fact, Democrats have expressed optimism that they will retake the House majority in the 2012 election and restore Pelosi to her previous role as Speaker. http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-brief...office-denies-report-that-she-wants-to-retire
