http://www.bloomberg.com/politics/articles/2015-03-03/ben-carson-launches-2016-exploratory-committee Ben Carson promises to be a very interesting candidate for the republican nomination for president. Could he bring in minorities in a way that Herman Cain never could?
Ben Carson can explore all he wants. Poor thing. I saw him on Meet The Press this past Sunday. Does he honestly think he has any chance whatsoever among the Republicans?
I doubt that he can get the nomination or would bring in more minorities. I seriously doubt the GOP leadership would give him the nomination and blacks would not vote for someone in large numbers that do not agree with their political point of view, it is like saying more whites would vote for a Democrat in an election because the they are white yet holds an opposing political point of view, not gonna happen.
No, he wouldn't bring in more minorities. Black folks can see thru him. He is nothing but window dressing.
Carson is down in the Cruz, Perry, Jindal group. One or two good ideas each but not even good VP material in the long run
none of the ones I mentioned would be, extremists don't bring enough to the table to outweigh their negatives. Sarah Palin is a fine example of that. She may be a tea party darling but was nothing but a huge bullseye for the liberals
He threw his hat into the ring to garner enough publicity to sell a book or something. Very much what Gingrich and Trump have done for free publicity.
He actually already has a movie that I think was just added to Netflix not too long ago. Obviously a brilliant neurosurgeon, but a politician? It takes more than good ideas to run for office. The scary thing is, I actually know several Republicans who have said that they want him to win.
Not truly so scary because he does not have a shot In hell, but scary because there are people that think he is remotely qualified. Those guys are scary.
"No, no, you don't understand!!! He may have no plans, no experience, and nothing more than a handful of ideals, but I think he would be great being the leader of the free world!!! I mean, just look at his qualifications: He was a neurosurgeon, he spoke at the Prayer Breakfast, and....um......did I mention he's black?"
The right wing bashes the POTUS for not being experienced enough before he was elected, but I'll bet these same people would support Carson. As my earlier post stated...many believe that he is indeed and idiot savant.
