Personally, I disagree with Dr. Carson's "assessment". That said, just in case, I am having everything translated. With all of the "Wokeness" (amid the "China Threat") there can be no doubt (whatsoever) that the Entire USA will be speaking Mandarin before Memorial Day. Hopefully, someone can put the brakes on this Existential Scourge of "Wokeness"! Best of Luck, Prayers, and Godspeed.

Standing alone, the quote is a good one.Though, untitled & uncredited, fewer than half of its readers would imagine the subject was wokeness. It could very easily pass for a Joe Biden quote on national unity: "We can’t be destroyed by Russia or China or North Korea or Iran or anyplace. We can only be destroyed by ourselves. And there are those who know that and therefore they plant the seeds of dissension.” The dissention-planters, in this case, would refer to purveyors of stolen-election theory, phony-pandemic conspiracy (with its anti-vaccine, fear-peddlers), and the zero-sum gamers, depicting any equity-initiative as naked favoritism, reverse discrimination, or a hand-out. That makes the quote something of an ink-blot test... or an unmasking of players, knowingly or not, in league with inimical actors.
Wokeness is indeed a negative to some degree, but more of our enemy than China, Russia, and Islamic terrorists? Not a chance.
Russia and China aren't a threat to dominate us militarily, their goal is to change our society and government to something more akin to theirs. Wokeness is a tool to reach that goal.
Wokeness isn't transforming us into China and Russia, two nations whose governments don't really give a crap at all about their people. For all the bad qualities of wokeness, apathy towards humanity is not one of them.
I already miss Dr. Carson so much! Certainly, he's one of the very few high-profile Black persons in the U.S. today with any real sense, or love for America at all.... I really miss Herman Cain, too. What a loss, to this damned virus.
We have apparently already lost to China and Asia as they make virtually all the semi conductors and high tech electronics produced in the world and right now our auto makers are laying off workers and closing plants because WE DON"T MAKE THESE PARTS. OH the short sightedness of our government over the past few decades allowing our manufacturers to, driven by greed, surrender our manufacturing to countries with the lowest labor costs. Capitalist greed strikes again to bite us in the ass.
