Duh, we don't live in a jackboot society. We have something called free speech. Ask yourself why they have such a large media presence this year.

    Probably because they feel empowered.

Good to know, you must've changed your mind since post #5. Antifa = violence against others who don't agree with them.

Sure, that is the media spin and it is the media that is creating the perception and giving the coverage. Ask yourself why they are doing this.

    Interesting.
Why do you believe it is OK to use violence as a means to suppress the rights of those you do not agree with?

If you had read my posts in this thread, you would know that I have consistently expressed my disapproval of all violence on all sides of this issue.
Thanks for playing, and not listening.

I have never once supported violence ever.
I have no problem debating sociopolitical issues, but I will never advocate violence.

When I was a child my parents told me that Fascists, Communists, Marxists, Socialists, Hippies, and Statists were not good people and did a lot of terrible things.

    Were my parents wrong?

    You said:
Yeah, the Anti Fascists are the bad guys, and the Fascists are the victims. Yep, I get it.

When the fascists engage in the legal exercise of heir 1st amendment rights and the antifa show up to suppress that exercise with violence, who is the victim?

So, how are the violent "anti-fascist" blackshirts in Antifa the good guys?

I never said that violent "anti-fascist" were the good guys.
Why are you claiming that I said things that I never said?

    Including the fascists.
They are, indeed, victims, when the antifa terrorists try to suppress their right to free speech with violence.
    Correct?

Aside from the blackshirts in Antifa who were the "fascists" in Berkeley?

You'll have to pardon me for not taking Antifa's word for anything...

I think you're right, but if all that happens is the people he's paying make the Democrats supporting them look bad in the press he might change his mind. Funny how he wants to fight fake Nazi's now and yet he was a collaborator with the real ones in the 1930's and 1940's.

Pray tell how so? How are others victims when some are allowed to express unpopular ideas that may offend others, which some foreign governments would silence with either force or death?

Antifa considers anyone they DISAGREE with to be fascists.

There are in fact virtually no fascists in the US.

Even if there were does it occur to you that they have the same rights as everyone else. Such as the right to assemble and speak?

Yes others can counter protest but NO ONE has the right to attack them

They weren't protesting, they were rioting and using violence and destruction.

You're running in cirlces now but still will not condemn Antifa, even though you say you don't agree with violence.

I totally support free speech rights for everyone.
I also support shutting down vile hate speech whenever it shows its ugly face.
    By peaceful means of course.

So when that does not work are you willing to let them speak?
