If all of these people were from Europe there would be no anger, fear or discrimination what-so-ever. It wouldn’t make the news, and it wouldn’t find its way into mainstream politics or political discussions what-so-ever.

Say no to that until your eyes pop out of your head but it's true, and deep, deep down all of you know it.

If Ireland (for example) was situated where Mexico is, and Irish folks were pouring into the US having babies not one of you hypocrites would be saying anything, not one word.

I agree that many of the young women finding their way into the country are having babies for the expressed point to have a connection with the US, so they can stay or reap the benefits……..but not all.

I personally a few young Mexican couples with kids that live & work in Mexico, and they have legally come to this country for better work opportunities, and they’re not looking to make 500 babies to weigh down the system.

I personally know a few young Mexican couples that have entered illegally that don’t have any kids and don’t want any.

Many people in this thread have made some very negative, disparaging, insulting, and down right cruel & insensitive remarks about all brown people including Mexicans, Indians (from India) Native American Indians, and the Africans that were brought here to be sold into slavery.

You guys never change, and sadly you never will. All of our policies are fine as long as the opportunities we once provided for Europeans aren't given to others that come from countries where the people are predominately brown.

The second poor “Juan” tries to cross the border to come “back” into the country his great, great grandfather was “born in” long before your ancestors ever arrived you all scream about anchor babies and throwing them all out.

All of you that are all so proud of your families coming here during the great wave don’t know anything about all of the escaped criminals, murderers, rapists, and con-men that boarded those ships bound for America.

Or about all of the immigrants that bordered those ships with forged documents or letters of transit that were bought & paid for while others had to wait or couldn’t come at all because they didn’t have the right connections.

All of you………..that are here now…………that are descendants from that wave………….are only here living the lives your living because America was only open for European continents, yet you all chastise the very people that were here before "them" just because they want to come back or have a shot at a halfway decent life.

Do some research on exactly who was here before who - who did what to who - who committed which crimes against who, and then try again.

I nominate this one. it is a well thought out argument about why freedom does not necessarily mean safety

I nominate this post because it is the antithesis of my position on (*)(*)(*)(*) talking in the forum. I wanted to choke fresh air out, metaphorically. I think this post exemplifies what PF looks for as an ideal, despite my desire to pick the scabs and let puss flow.
