On June 7, 2011, the answer became clear. At 6 a.m. a S.W.A.T.-style team of 15 officers from the U.S. Department of Education’s (DOE) Office of Inspector General broke down a door in Stockton, California. (The OIG is the semi-independent law-enforcement branch of the DOE which pursues criminal offenses such as student aid fraud.) The agents had a no-knock warrant that had been issued by the DOE. On the other side of the door were Kenneth Wright and his three children ages 3, 7, and 11. None of them had violated any law. Nevertheless, an officer grabbed the underwear-clad Wright by the neck and dragged him onto the front lawn, pinning him down with a knee in the back. Eventually, the handcuffed Kenneth and his children were placed in the back of a patrol car for six hours while the police searched his house.

Comment: I posted this before from the local TV network. Sad things is a college education isn't about making you smarter, its about conditioning you.

They get you in big loans, to condition you for the NWO system, and you pay for it. You pay to be trained as a slave so to speak, now they are coming after you, if you don't pay for your conditioning.

Defaulting on a loan IS actually a crime....but I think that sending in a swat team was going to far....They could have easily sent a single agent with an arrest warrant and arrested the woman discreetly without the need for property damage or traumatizing her children.

Ah, you are using logic and reason.

There is the problem right there, this isn't about logic and reason or even the law, its about force and control ;)

This is my problem with you...Any time you agree with a law, you would be fine with this type of action.....but whenever you don't it's always about some evil conspiracy...

No. You watch to much TV.

You are taking up the media talking points of liberal vs conservative.

I don't find any reasons at all to ignore the constitution. But you say I do, so it must be true. :puke:

Why should the constitution be ignored, I ask you?

90% of laws are not in the constitutuion.......They dont have to be because one of the articles of the constitution gives the government the power to pass laws without needing a ammendment.

I can't think of any crime that would call for such an action except where there is immediate danger to someone's life or an extremely dangerous criminal on the loose. As for laws, I don't support any that aren't directly related to prohibitions on force or fraud against peaceful people. What the government did to this family was a crime even if there is no statute for it.

Educated Liberals Say Forgiveness of Student Loans Would Stimulate Economy
October 18, 2011 - A liberal activist group is circulating an online petition calling for forgiveness of student loan debt. That would do more to stimulate the economy than giving tax cuts to billionaires and big corporations, said MoveOn.org.

Pretty outrageous and dangerous to bring the swat team. Other sane ways to handle that. Whoever gave the order needs to be fired and prosecuted.

So does that mean only those who take out loans after the forgiveness program are saddled with thousands of dollars in debt every month, or can lenders pretty much count on there being a forgiveness program every few years? Since these loans are backed by federal guarantees, it would make sense for anyone to get one of these loans for any type of education, take some time off, learn a new skill that may or may not be of any use to anyone, and then wait for the forgiveness.
