I support states doing what they need to do to protect their borders but razor wire, especially in water, seems cruel.

No amount of preventing them from illegally crossing will impact the larger numbers though, which are those applying for asylum or ones overstaying their visas. It might cut down on the drug and terrorist smuggling however.

The left keeps saying they don't support open borders all while they do everything possible to keep the borders open. How many lawsuits has the left taken to court in order to prevent secure borders?

    Good call.

The fact the left has been against having border protection for so long is disgusting.

It is good to see however even the left is coming around and acknowledging the issue.

This can only have a positive effect.

As long as it's not hidden and they can easily avoid it by not deliberately putting themselves in it, it's not cruel.

It's as though Biden is in a hurry to remake America before the next election. Texas is to be applauded and Arizona would be on the same page had Kari Lake been elected.

    Biden's plan is working.

Texas border agents outnumbered by 200 to 1 by migrants at Eagle Pass — station at 260% capacity

US border agents in Eagle Pass, Texas, are outnumbered by migrants 200 to 1 even as Customs and Border Protection (CBP) staff have been dispatched from stations across the country to aid the overwhelmed port of entry, The Post has learned.

The Texas border station was processing over 4,500 migrants into the facility on Tuesday while a further 5,300 people were already being held inside, bringing it to 260% capacity, according to figures from Fox News.

CBP checkpoints across the state have been forced to close and divert manpower to Eagle Pass, Texas Congressman Tony Gonzales told The Post, which he says leaves those communities unpatrolled, allowing drug and people smugglers to operate unimpeded in more rural areas.

“Every single checkpoint is closed — Uvalde, Carizzo — every single checkpoint is closed and every single border patrol agent is here,” Gonzalez said.

“Guess where they’re not? In the field stopping bad actors and nefarious goods coming over.”

More illegals coming to a city near you.

Texas begins flying migrants to sanctuary cities with first flight to Chicago

The state of Texas has started flying migrants to sanctuary cities, with the first flight arriving in Chicago on Tuesday evening, Fox News has learned, marking an escalation of Gov. Greg Abbott’s previous strategy of bussing migrants to ease the pressure on the border state.

Fox was told that the first flight left El Paso on Tuesday afternoon with 120 migrants on board and arrived at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport later in the day. Sources in Abbott’s office told Fox that all migrants signed voluntary waivers, as they do when bussed.

The decision was partially in response to Chicago’s interference of the buses traveling to the sanctuary city. The city has launched lawsuits against companies transporting the migrants.

Either we'll never hear from this illegal again or she will pump out 8 anchor babies.

Colombian woman who crossed into US illegally released, given 2031 ICE check-in date

Attorney tells Fox News the situation made him 'realize the Biden administration is basically providing backdoor amnesty for anyone who wants to show up at the border'

A Colombian woman who entered the U.S. illegally by crossing the border in El Paso, Texas, was released and told to check in with U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in New York City in 2031.

The woman’s attorney, Matthew Kolken, told Fox News in the nearly 30 years of immigration law he has practiced, the woman’s release with a check in eight years from now is one of the most shocking things he has ever seen.

I hope Kari Lake is right. She said tonight if the Trump Administration is elected, there will be the biggest mass deportation the world has ever seen. Of course we'll pay for it but it needs to be done!

That's why a very tall wall with a moat on both sides filled with alligators, crocodiles, piranhas and laser beams* is needed, but you guys call that racist.

*I added the laser beams because libs said we would prevent illegals crossing our border using technology.

I'd ask how laser beams would help, but then you might attempt an answer...

And Nobody ever said technology WOULD prevent illegal border crossings, so there's that...

Dude, you guys argued for 4 years how technology is better than a wall. What technology were you referring to?

I sense back peddling on the left.

Someone on the left should tell these illegals that America is a xenophobic and racist country that hates and oppresses brown people.

Anyone who actually believe that Democrats are not for open borders, is not paying attention.

As always when it comes to Democrats, don't listen to what they say but watch what they do.

    Dear leader sure did.

"I'm going to make sure that we have border protection, but it's going to be based on making sure that we use high-tech capacity to deal with it. And at the ports of entry — that's where all the bad stuff is happening," the former vice president said during the virtual interview on Tuesday.

If it’s in flowing water, people could get washed into it.
Otherwise I don’t have a problem with it.

They see past the lie. Especially those with brown skin. Racism is alive and well south of the border. Blue blood Spanish and Europeans dominate. They marvel at America and how far we have come. They see way past that liberal lie to divide those of us that are citizens.
