Also, those transfers act like a tax. The portion of that money that goes to Mexico does not circulate in our economy. Economically speaking, you might as well burn it.

 

Why would we do that? Y’all have already shown that you’ll simply “forgive” the debt (in other words make all of us pay it) for people whom you deem have too much debt as to be prohibitive. And you did it for education costs with the justification being that they couldn’t help it and they NEEDED the education so they HAD to sign onto the loans. How much more so are you going to make that argument for the migrants in 10 years that they NEEDED the healthcare and so were forced to take on the debt? Why should we trust you all to make them pay it back?
