    First of all I would like to say I’m completely impressed by this. This caliber is responsible for the most shootings in the United States. Semi auto pistols are also the most used type of gun in shooting, and in self defense. However let me point out how moronic this guy is.

    here is one of his quotes today.

    "They said a .22-caliber bullet will lodge in the lung, and we can probably get it out — may be able to get it and save the life. A 9mm bullet blows the lung out of the body,"

    So the .22 caliber bullet is also in a .223 or in other words what is pushed out of most AR-15’s. He is literally claiming that a 9mm is more devastating than a .22 caliber bullet and that they lodge in to the lung. That’s not just ridiculous, that’s idiocy. I would rather have my AR over a 9mm pistol if I would run into a bear.

    He may be talking about a .22 rifle round which also shoots a .22 caliber bullet. But if you can’t even talk about this stuff correctly then how in the hell are you supposed to come up with any legislation that’s meaningful? The guy and the democrat party are morons. If his speech writer clears this they too are morons. I’ve said for years that democrats want to regulate water, beef, food processing and these morons don’t even know the steps it takes to get a steak on their table. This is another example of just that. Total knee jerk and no brain.

    So you agree the constitution isn’t absolute but are upset that Biden said the constitution isn’t absolute?

    He is allowed to have opinions as long as he doesn’t push for constitutional violations like DeSantis is doing.

    A ban on 9mm pistols would get revoked by the Supreme Court even if congress passed it. You can’t just ban something that widely used.

    What is absolute about it is the power of we the people. The 2A specifically denies government the right to override an individual right and to disarm the public. The constitution is very absolute in telling government what it can’t do to we the people and assured us that we the people and the states have all power in America not enumerated to the federal government in that document.

    Shall not be infringed has never translated to anything less than literally what it says. I do think it was intended to be absolute. Why else would they have added it?

    There is not going to be any ban on 9mm’s or “assault” rifles. Biden is a “dementia ridden idiot” yet he’s going to somehow get all sorts of guns banned? Not gonna happen.

    I have used mine in bear country. Protection from bears require high penetration rounds. Steel tipped rounds are amazing for this. Specially coming from a 30-100 round mag. Not sure if you have ever witnessed the speed of a bear but they are incredibly fast and the more you push at them the quicker they’ll drop. I have full faith in a semi auto AR with lots of rounds to stop them.

    People who think they have no real purpose other than killing humans are idiots.

    If they think banning abortion will cause a revolution go ahead and ban widely used guns like this. States will pick sides and articles of independence will be written. You’ll see national guard funding for states increase overnight. I know what side I’ll be on.

    There hasn’t really been a major push to “disarm” the public however. Common sense gun regulation like training or not allowing certain types of weapons or accessories are completely constitutional and should be supported by every person that cares about children being executed in our places of education.
