Do you SERIOUSLY believe that a president, a legislator, a business exec, a member of the press, or anyone else would walk into a meeting without having serious understanding of what other specific attendees might say or ask???

In EVERY meeting such as this in government or in business, all those involved anticipate the questions that will be asked by other specific attendees. In fact, they may well know exactly what others will say.

The answers to those questions get analyzed to death.

Nobody of import walks into a presser or negotiation cold.

This probably didn't happen with Trump, as his record was one of never sticking to any policy decision. But, that is NOT an asset.

Might ask? Biden’s cheat sheet has the name of the reporter, her picture, who she works for, the question she’s going to ask and handwritten on top is ‘question #1’ and he chose her to ask the first question.

No, this is not a ‘might ask’ thing, it was a rigged certainty.

Wow, and I mean WOW! This White House is truly amazing. The LA Times reporter denies submitting a question in advance, yet when Biden was taking questions he had a cheat sheet with her name and photo along with the exact question she was going to be asked. This White House is better at predicting the future than Pelosi’s husband.

To me this is just more proof that the media is siden’ with Biden.

LA Times denies submitting questions to the White House ahead of press conference

Of course the lefties will dismiss it...they have to. What other choice do they have?...be honest?...nope, not an option.

But even if you think this particular instance is ok. The president of the United states should be able to field questions and answer them. That isn't too much to ask. This president can't do that. He can't have a simple conversation with someone. He can only read from notes/teleprompter.

I feel sorry for anybody who is such a partisan hack that they defend this.

This isn't a knock on Biden.

What kind of IDIOT would walk into a national event without knowing how that meeting was going to be controlled and used?

For some weird reason people think that such meetings should all be "off the cuff". But, American is NOT "off the cuff".

No savvy politician or businessman is going to walk into a serious meeting without having a plan for how that meeting is going to be a success for them.

As for prepared answers, politicians give weeks of campaigning where they say the exact same words over and over again to different crowds. What they say is NOT "off the cuff". It's carefully vetted by an army of well chosen staff.

This event was NOT a "simple conversation with someone".

This event was not an interview, for example.

And, yes. The president of the USA was well prepared.

Prepared? Being prepared is knowing the answers to the questions you might ask. Having a card with the reporters name, address and phone number along with the exact question she’s going to ask is far, far, beyond being prepared. The only thing that was prepared was the rigging of the question.

So far, I haven't heard of any lies.

It sure does look like not everybody was equally informed.

First of all, rigging a question like that is a well know way to ensure an event goes in the direction that you want. It's a way of coopting the floor. Biden got to say what he wanted to say.

Next, nobody is claiming to know how the president got the info on the question. They could have a mole in the press organization. They could have enough history on what has been asked by that person in the past.

Do you seriously believe it is hard to find info like phone numbers on reporters? They WANT to be contacted. That's their job.

You mean the reporters denying what you've claimed, that all the staff of all smart politicos get their questions in advance?
You haven't seen that just above your comments?

    Really?

So the fake news is rigged and fake. Perhaps you never heard of the 4th estate, something that I learned about as a required high school class. If American, did you take a government class in high school?

For two years there is a problem -- he might confuse Putin with Cornpop.

Absurd and dishonest thing to say. Use the search feature of this forum and you will see I neither watch nor like Fox. If you have no intention of an honest back and forth discussion on issues fine. You can join the "select few" on my ignore list.

A President cannot be impeached for being a confused, demented, senile old fool with mashed potato as brains, to the point where he needs questions in advance! :roflol:
