During his town hall on ABC News, Biden falsely claimed that a Boilermakers union endorsed him. In reality the president of union In question said the union endorsed Trump. This claim went unchallenged by George Stephanopolis. Of course, he might not have known the truth. The question is, why would Biden make a false claim in a nationally televised event when he knows it is not true and he will be corrected? https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.fo...ms-union-endorsement-during-abc-town-hall.amp Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden pushed back at a town hall Thursday against suspicion from a boilermakers union member regarding his position on fracking by insisting that the union endorsed him, when no such endorsement appears to have been given.
I am not sure it really matters if they did or did not endorse him. It just shows how out of touch he is, but some people don't care about that either.
The DP abandoned the working class, and the working class is abandoning the DP. Even Warren knew they were committing political suicide and tried to warn them. But do they listen? "The United States is in the final stages of negotiating the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), a massive free-trade agreement with Mexico, Canada, Japan, Singapore and seven other countries. Who will benefit from the TPP? American workers? Consumers? Small businesses? Taxpayers? Or the biggest multinational corporations in the world? One strong hint is buried in the fine print of the closely guarded draft. The provision, an increasingly common feature of trade agreements, is called “Investor-State Dispute Settlement,” or ISDS. The name may sound mild, but don’t be fooled. Agreeing to ISDS in this enormous new treaty would tilt the playing field in the United States further in favor of big multinational corporations. Worse, it would undermine U.S. sovereignty." THE WASHINGTON POST, The Trans-Pacific Partnership clause everyone should oppose, By Elizabeth Warren, February 25, 2015, Elizabeth Warren, a Democrat, represents Massachusetts in the Senate. https://www.washingtonpost.com/opin...ory.html?noredirect=on&utm_term=.b94ebd63f26a
He makes claims like that because 14 million people hear the claim and maybe 1 million hear the correction because MSM will hide it. So it is a numbers game. Trump should play that game, in the debate he should say that he is directing the Justice Department to look in to the mutilation deaths of dozens of children's bodies found on Biden's property, then after the election, just say, oh, that was not Biden's property after all, my bad, I guess I was wrong. Take that one right out of the democrats playbook, remember the scumbag Reid announcing on the Senate floor that Romney didn't pay taxes, he knew it was a lie when he said it, but he also knew it would piss people off. Later in an interview a reporter asked him why he said it when he knew it wasn't true and his answer was "he didn't get elected, did he". tit for tat
