    What stands out to me above is that Rep. James Comer, (House committee chair) said this is an investigation about the Biden family influence peddling, and "chairman of the board" Joe Biden.

    He also believes Hunter Biden was in proximity to classified documents found in J. Biden's garage.

    House Republicans are expected to show evidence that just prior to the 2020 election, the Democratic Party's buddy, Twitter, restricted any talk of HB's laptop and the Biden family influence peddling, a strong indicatior of it found on the laptop.

    Ironically, I can already hear some, many who were all in for the two "political" impeachments of a prior president, pretend that this investigation is a waste of time and money by the "extreme maga republicans" who are on a "fishing expedition".

    Chances are that the hearings won't be like that at all, like the prior "Schiff" shows. :roll:

    If this is how MAGA wants to spend their time, well, good luck. Trying to think how chasing these mindless conspiracy theories and the highly selective outrage by the folks is anything but legislature based campaigning for Trump.

    The chain of custody of the laptop is garbage and therefore negates anything on it and you know it. Thats why the FBI didn't move forward with it. The fact that RUDY was contacted by the repair company, and was privy to its existence and the fact that Rudy was espousing what was on it before the FBI had it makes it worthless.

    It wont matter, the repubs will start hearings and claim all all kinds of things that aren't true, but they will never once allow the questioning of the chain of custody. This is `100% political and the right doesnt care, because HUNTERRRRRRRRRR is all they hear.

    Very serious question here: If your so worried about grift, and the possibility of "corruption" (the rights claim), then why are you not asking questions about the $2BILLION given to Ivanka and Jared while they were on an official State visit in Saudi as officials of the Trump administration.

    I believe the "mishandled" classified material has an investigative body in law enforcement working on it. The rest is just baseless nonsense.

    It's interesting to see the juxtaposition between this administration and the previous one. Biden is welcoming the inquriy with open arms while Trump threatened to fire anyone who went against him.

    I doubt it's accountability they want. Their side only cares about keeping and gaining more power, so be prepared for the double standards, the Nuh-Uhs, and the Orange Man Bad type replies.

    I am just glad Republicans are following up on their promise to save the economy and reduce inflation by… err… investigating government corruption but limiting it only to the last two years — anything other than that is off limits and making people be able to smoke in the Capitol building again.

    I wonder if they will beat their previous record of shutting down the government set in 2016 & 2017?
